Twitch streamer Marlon has addressed the mounting allegations against him. Controversy began after a person who claimed to be Marlon’s family member posted a video on May 4, 2025, alleging that the streamer was never homeless and lied to garner sympathy from fans:
"Why did you never help him when he was homeless, bro. People don't understand that this is all games. People actually think that he was homeless, come on, bro. Be smarter than that, man, be smarter than that, bro, please."
A female claiming to be an associate of the streamer posted a video on May 5, 2025, where she alleged to have been complicit in painting a fake image of him on the internet. She presented screenshots and videos that supposedly proved that Marlon had faked his personality online to deceive his followers.
One of the screenshots shared online seemingly depicted the Twitch streamer trading his pictures for money on an adult platform. The woman stated in the video:
''This is Marlon, and this is what I found, and I made sure that this was taken down because I was so worried for him. I helped him always have this fake image. I've always helped him even towards his family. I've helped him to have this fake image also with you guys, you guys that watch him, that didn't know that he's lying to you.''
Following the female’s video, an old clip of Marlon using controversial language resurfaced, where the streamer can be heard saying:
"I would deada**, bend your sh*t over, small, fat, young, old, underage, overage. Give you b*ckshots after b*ckshots."
The online personality went live on May 5, 2025, and revealed that he made contentious statements in a bid to go viral on the internet:
"When I said those things, I thought it was okay to say those things. Because I wanted to blow up, I wanted to get the clip out there, and I was like, 'I will get that on TikTok; that's probably going to be clipped everywhere.' I thought if I say the most ridiculous stuff ever, the Internet would snap it up like this and it would be a snow ball effect and it would be bigger and bigger."
He apologised for his past statements and claimed he was no longer the same person:
"It's not how this world works, Marlon. But I never realised that until later on. Later on, it's too late already. What's been done, what's been said, has been done. So, I said the most stupid sh*t ever. It's not okay, I do not stand by that, I am not the same person anymore. I have learned along the way as I went by. It's not okay, and I want to say right here, I apologise, I am so sorry."
Marlon condemns his past actions, saying what he said in the videos was “hundred per cent wrong”
The embattled live streamer continued to apologise for his past actions and termed them as inappropriate:
"It's not okay to joke about, it's not okay to say these things, it's dark humor, but that sh*t just doesn't go on in this world. It shouldn't go on in this world; it should never be okay to say it, okay? And I'm sorry for it, I take full accountability, that was 100% wrong, and I would never do it again."
The streamer, however, doubled down on his past statements about being homeless. In his stream, he denied accusations about never being homeless:
"I was homeless in New York City. I took the last money that I had, from Sweden by the way, to go on the first flight to NYC to be able to stream there for a couple of weeks. To see if I could start getting the ball rolling. Pick up on the American culture, pick up on the American streams. I lived in a cell, it was about this f**king big."
He also added that he slept on his suitcase at one time when he had run out of money.
