Cardi B recently got emotional while talking about her relationship with Offset. The two rappers reportedly started dating in 2017, and Cardi B filed for divorce in 2024 after an on-and-off relationship.

However, this wasn't the first time that Cardi B filed for divorce, as she had previously also filed for divorce in 2020 but called it off.

The singer took to X Spaces on June 3, 2025, to share her raw emotions about the past relationship.

"I don't think people understand how tired I was. How tired, how mentally drained I was. Drained, drained, drained. Couldn't eat. I was getting frequent headaches. I was literally losing my mind. I was literally losing my mind, and I gave it chances after chances."

She added,

"I was going to end up going to jail, cause I was going to end up killing them. Seriously, with my own bare hands. Cause it was just getting so … it was just getting too much."

Both Cardi and Offset have accused each other of cheating in the past. The couple shares three children together, named Kulture, Wave, and Blossom.

Cardi B confirms relationship with Stefon Diggs

Meanwhile, Cardi B confirmed the dating rumors with Stefon Diggs on June 1 by featuring him in her Instagram post. In the photos, Stefon was seen looking at her as she held his face with her hands while sitting in a yacht. The two were also spotted together in May at a New York Knicks game, which had already sparked dating rumors.

Per People, speaking of her current phase, she said,

"I'm in a place right now that I'm very happy and I feel like I'm crawling. It's like I'm learning how to do things."

She continued,

"Dating is new to me. It took a long time for me to open up to somebody."

In the X Spaces, she also shared that she is very happy with her life right now and deeply in love with all three of her kids. Additionally, she also addressed the hate comments criticizing the rapper due to her past relationship by saying,

"I was married for seven years, and I was faithful for seven years. Before that, I was engaged for three years. Everybody knows I was engaged to somebody that was in jail, and I've been famous for a very long time now. I've been married for a very long time. You don't see stories of me being a wh*re, being a sl*t."

After Cardi B confirmed her relationship with Stefon Diggs, Offset seemingly took a shot at her through a tweet, which was deleted later. The tweet also got an indirect response from Stefon Diggs. As of now, Offset has deactivated his Instagram and X.
