Ice Spice vs. Phoenix - RuPaul’s Drag Race drama explained

In the latest episode of RuPaul's Drag Race All Stars season 10, singer and rapper Ice Spice (Isis Naija Gaston) was on the judges' panel. RuPaul’s Drag Race is no stranger to drama. But during the latest episode, things got heated up between guest judge Isis Naija Gaston and one of the All Stars known as Phoenix.

The reason behind all the drama is based on Ice Spice's commentary on Phoenix's look. The Did It First singer said:

"I hear you’re a legendary icon, but tonight, I don’t think I would have been able to tell with how shy you were."

While Phoenix kept her calm on the show, the same cannot be said about the drag star's post on her Instagram story. Phoenix wrote:

"Also! I appreciate the love from everyone about the Ice Spice comment! I'll comment more and tell the funny part about this later"

The drag queen continued:

"But TRUST ME WHEN I SAY! My 25 years of experience and decades of contributing to my community is what makes me an ICON! Not 3 minutes on a tv show..... That being said, Im perfectly fine not getting "icon" validation from someone who's "fame" has come from 1 song about shitting and farting......"
