Aimee Osbourne, Jack Osbourne, and Kelly Osbourne reunited for their late father, Ozzy Osbourne’s July 31 funeral procession. The estranged siblings had an intimate moment where they shared long hugs before reading their tributes.

That display of affection between the siblings was very rare as the trio doesn't have a close relationship, something the three of them have admitted several times. In a recent interview with Disrespectfully Podcast, Jack Osbourne confirmed his fractured relationship with his older sister, Aimee Osbourne.

“We are not close at all. We don't have a great relationship; she will be the first to tell you that it's not a secret.”

And while he linked their estrangement to Aimee’s absence on The Osbournes’ reality TV show, the sibling’s fractured bond grew as Aimee remained absent from most of the family’s business endeavors.

Their mother and the wife of late Rock and Heavy Metal icon Sharon Osbourne also spoke about her daughter's absence from the family activities.

“She doesn't like it, no. She loves writing, she loves singing, but she doesn't want to be a pop star,” She said in 2024 during an episode of the Howie Mandel Does Stuff podcast.

Aimee Osbourne’s younger sister, Kelly, has also talked about her non-existent relationship with Aimee.

“We don't talk. We're just really different. She doesn't understand me. I don't understand her,” she said in a 2021 episode of Dax Shepard's Armchair Expert podcast.

Aimee Osbourne talks about the estranged relationship with her siblings

Aimee Osbourne is an English actress and singer. She is the first child of Sharon Osbourne and Ozzy Osbourne and was born in London on September 2, 1983. Growing up, the 41-year-old Osbourne had always wanted to become a moody and mysterious musician, and according to Jack, was one of the primarily reasons she didn't join in the Osbournes’ successful TV show.

In a 2002 interview with Barbara Walters, Aimee Osboirme shared why she didn't want to be on the show.

“My private life to me is very important," she said, "so it didn't feel right because my whole life, everything's been so exposed, so I feel as though now I'm at an age and a time in my life where I can make that choice.”

Aimee emphasized that it wasn't due to a lack of love for them, nor did she wish to disassociate from her family.

While speaking to Independent in 2008, she said:

“I'm not some weirdo depressed daughter that's afraid of the world and locks herself in her room all day. I just didn't choose to do the show."

Before her father passed, Aimee had begun to grow close to her parents again. Unfortunately, when asked about her relationship with her siblings, Aimee replied:

“I wouldn't say there is an ease between us, but there is an acceptance. Do we socialize? No.”
