Inside YouTuber Nash Grier’s family turmoil as wife Taylor Giavasis’s mother goes missing in Florida

YouTuber Nash Grier’s mother-in-law is missing. According to reports from TMZ published on August 20, 2025, Nikki Giavasis mother of Grier’s wife, Taylor Giavasis, was last seen on August 18, 2025, and hasn’t been seen since then.

Her daughter revealed to the news outlet that Nikki had plans to stay in Florida for a month and even book an Airbnb before her line went dead. In a missing persons poster on Instagram, Taylor appealed to the general public to help locate her mum.

She was last seen at 321 N Fort Lauderdale Beach Boulevard, Fort Lauderdale, FL. She was wearing a dress. The missing poster shared on Instagram read:

“Nikki’s family is urgently seeking any information regarding her whereabouts. If you have seen Nikki or know anything about her location, please contact 911 immediately or call the Fort Lauderdale Police Department at (954) 828-5700.”

Taylor included a picture of Nikki wearing a black and white strapless dress. The 48-year-old also sports a tattoo of angel wings and Mal and Noa on the arm.

Nash Grier and Taylor Giavasis' relationship explored as mother-in/law goes missing

Nash and Taylor began dating in 2014 and married in 2024 in a quiet wedding ceremony attended by Nikki Giavasis. They have two children together, their son Malakai, born in 2019, and Noa, born in 2022.

Nash Grier, a former Magcon member, reflected on how much he has grown as a father days after his wedding:

"27 today, a lot has changed since I became a father 5 years ago, including my perception of time. The years have been flying by lately," he wrote in December 2024, days after the wedding. "I take lots of pictures and videos and try my best to savour every moment."

In a 2020 YouTube video, Nash Grier revealed that his perspective shifted once Taylor became pregnant and he prioritised her in every aspect of life. Taylor added in the same video:

"It’s about Malakai [and] it’s about us working together. We aren’t the main focus of our whole lives anymore, so I feel like it forces us to communicate properly.”

Nikki Giavasis is an entrepreneur, wellness advocate and author who has built a considerable social media following through the years. The Fort Lauderdale Police Department urges anyone with information on her whereabouts to contact their department immediately.
