In recent news, American media personality and socialite Paris Hilton spoke about building her media empire in an exclusive interview with The Times of London published on Saturday, November 15. The 44-year-old media personality discussed how she grew her company, 11:11 Media, all by herself without any input from her family. She referred to herself as self-made.

“I’m self-made. Like, I’ve done this all on my own.”

She added:

“No one’s ever given me anything in my entire life.”

Paris Hilton is the great-granddaughter of hotel tycoon Conrad Hilton. She gained fame in the 2000s for her lavish lifestyle and starred in the reality TV series The Simple Life from 2003 to 2007.

Netizens find it unbelievable that the heiress didn't receive any help in building her media empire, which is now valued at $1 billion. However, Paris Hilton stressed that all that she has now is due to her hard work.

She revealed that before his passing, her grandfather, Barron Hilton, who succeeded Conrad Hilton, praised Paris for her hard work.

“We were extremely close, and we would always have lunches and dinners, and he would always say to me, ‘Paris, you work harder than any CEO I know.’ And he’s, like, ‘I used to be known as Barron Hilton, but now I’m known as Paris Hilton’s grandpa.’ We would always laugh about it.”

According to US Weekly, he reportedly left 97 percent of his wealth to the Hilton family foundation, not his family members.

“I didn’t watch the documentary — I don’t like watching any of that type of stuff.”

She added:
