Kim Kardashian is officially a graduate of California's Law Office Study program. The businesswoman announced the news first on her Instagram stories on May 21, where she uploaded photos believed to be taken during a garden-themed ceremony. Alongside Kim and her children celebrating her achievement, the stories also showed Khloé Kardashian and Kourtney Kardashian supporting their sister on the journey.

She finished her four-year apprenticeship in 2025 after six years, reportedly because of delays caused by COVID and her busy routine. On May 22, Kim Kardashian uploaded an Instagram post, sharing her thoughts on graduating from the program. She wrote,

"Six years ago, I embarked on an unconventional path to pursue my dream of becoming a lawyer. It wasn’t easy, and it took longer than planned, but I never gave up. Each course brought moments of doubt, tears, and triumph - especially when I conquered subjects I initially feared."

She further described the details by adding,

"I chose a rigorous program registered with the California State Bar, building on 75 college credits to complete a four-year curriculum that stretched to six. The journey was real, and so is the accomplishment."

The mom of four received an outpouring of love and support from fans in the comments. Many praised her for studying law while also running SKIMS, raising her kids, and managing her busy filming schedule.

Kim Kardashian's mentor, Jessica Jackson, congratulates her on the achievement

Jessica Jackson, one of Kim Kardashian's mentors who officially guided and supervised her, congratulated Kim during the backyard ceremony by saying,

"It's an absolute honor to stand here today, not just as mentors, but as witnesses to one of the most inspiring legal journeys we've ever seen."

Continuing her speech, Jackson said,

"Over the course of this program, Kim has dedicated 18 hours a week, 48 weeks a year for six straight years. That's a total of 5,184 hours of legal study, that's time she carved out while raising four children, running businesses, filming television shows and showing up in courtrooms to advocate for others."

Kim's sister, Khloé, also posted on her Instagram saying,

"I am so proud of Kim. I just left her celebration lunch for graduating law school. I mean, I cannot believe this is years and years in the making. I'm so proud of her. This was just such a cool accomplishment, and I'm so proud."

In 2021, after clearing the baby bar exam, Kim spoke about how she didn’t pass it the first three times but kept going. She said it wasn’t easy, and many experienced lawyers had warned her that her path would be more challenging than regular law school.

Although Kim Kardashian isn’t a licensed lawyer yet, she can now take the bar exam and work toward becoming one like her late father, Robert Kardashian.
