TMZ has reported that Kristin Cabot, the Chief People Officer, involved in the cheating scandal with Andy Byron, former CEO of AI company, Astronomer, has resigned from the company. According to the news outlet’s July 24, 2025, report, a source from the company confirmed that Cabot is no longer with the company.
Trouble started brewing for Cabot during a Coldplay concert on July 16 when she was featured on the Kiss cam in a passionate embrace with her married boss, Byron. The viral clip sparked heavy backlash and prompted the Software development company Astronomer to issue a statement condemning their actions and appointing Peter DeJoy as interim CEO.
TMZ also released an additional clip of the couple kissing at the Coldplay concert.

During a Coldplay concert at Gillette Stadium in Boston on July 16, 2025, cameras panned to reveal Cabot and Byron in a compromising position. The couple who were married to different partners at the time looked uncomfortable as they discovered themselves on the big screen.
Byron immediately let go of Cabot and ducked behind a barrier. Cabot covered her face and walked away from the scene. Frontman of Coldplay, Chris Martin, observed from the stage, saying:
“Oh, what, either they’re having an affair or they’re very shy.”
Astronomer released an official statement on July 18, 2025, revealing that they had launched a formal investigation into the matter and had placed Byron on administrative leave. On July 19, 2025, the company released another statement informing the general public that Byron had tendered his resignation and the Board of Directors had accepted it.
