The D4vd and Celeste Rivas case has gotten a new update. According to an exclusive report by TMZ published on Wednesday, October 15, 2025, the LAPD has obtained surveillance videos from D4vd’s Hollywood Hills rental home. According to the police, these videos could reveal whether the deceased was at the singer’s home weeks leading up to her death.

Speaking to the house owner, Malden Trifunovic, TMZ learnt that LAPD seized all the footage from several security cameras when they conducted a raid last month. Malden mentioned that while the external cameras will show who has entered and exited the premises, he has not reviewed any of the footage to protect his tenants' privacy.

More details on the D4vd and Celeste Rivas case

Fifteen-year-old Celeste Rivas, whose remains were discovered in an impounded Tesla belonging to American singer D4vd, was buried on Monday, October 6, 2025. She was laid to rest at Queen of Heaven Cemetery & Mortuary in Rowland Heights, California.

According to reports, friends and family were present at her funeral, most of them dressed in black. The family seemed to want to keep the event private, as the funeral service was held inside a white tent.

Celeste was buried several days after Law Enforcement officers raided D4vd’a Los Angeles rental home situated north of Sunset Boulevard. According to reports, several items were recovered from the house, including electronics and computers.

Weeks after Celeste’s body was found in an impounded Tesla registered under D4vd, the authorities haven't named a suspect or a person of interest.

“At this time, the LAPD does not have a crime classification from the coroner as to the mode or manner of death. Thus, we do not have any suspect information at this time,” the LAPD reported.

Aside from a spokesperson confirming that D4vd was cooperating with the authorities, the singer has not made any personal comment on the issue.

Very recently, D4vd’s manager was accused of collaborating with the singer, and that he had something to do with it; he vehemently denied the accusation.

“How dare you say something like this with no facts. This video is false, and the person is misinformed. This is the only time I’ll speak on this matter. FOR NOW. This has been a tough time for my family as I am a father of 3 children. I received no emails, and I’m no one’s roommate. I live full-time at home with my wife and kids.”
