Drake is once again creating online buzz because of a viral selfie that sparked plastic surgery rumors. In June 2025, the Canadian rapper posted a shirtless photo, showing off his abs. The image was quick to go viral across social media. Many fans questioned whether his physique was natural or the result of cosmetic enhancement.

Fan speculations pointed toward "abdominal etching," among other rumors. On September 2, 2025, Drake addressed the rumors during the premiere of Bobbi Althoff's new podcast, Not This Again. The rapper made it clear that he had not undergone any surgery. However, he admitted that the viral photo had been edited. To this, one netizen remarked:

In his statement, Drake said,

"No, People also say I got a BBL. They call me 'BBL Drizzy.' I do not know if my wagon looked crazy when I walked in here, but did it? I came from the gym, I was sweaty in that pic. Maybe I heightened the saturation or something on it. I think I hit it too hard. They don't look like that."
