A short clip from a recent KATSEYE fan event has generated notable discussion online. The viral video was filmed during a hi-touch and autograph session on the group's ongoing Beautiful Chaos Tour. In the clip, KATSEYE's Manon appeared visibly upset as she was speaking with member Megan.

At first, multiple viewers assumed there had been an argument or disagreement among members. However, Manon later issued a clarification through private Weverse messages.

She explained that her frustration had nothing to do with the group. It was related to a grown man in the crowd aggressively pushing children and other fans to get autographs he allegedly intended to resell. KATSEYE's Manon stated:

"Lmao friends. The girls are not fighting! I was really upset because there was a grown man in the crowd who was not even a fan, just shoving people including kids to get autographs he could resell later.'

Netizens reacted to her statement, saying:

"never doubted my sister for a second"

Internet reactions to KATSEYE's Manon clarifying viral clip

Pop Base took to its official X (formerly Twitter) page to post that,

"KATSEYE's Manon clarifies that she wasn’t mad at her fellow members in a viral video, stating that her frustration was caused by a grown man shoving children in the crowd."

Fans soon gathered under the comments to pen their thoughts on the matter. Below are some of their remarks:

"sis probably wanted to intervene but the members or security said nah. kudos to her for being so protective despite being in the spotlight 🫡", stated an X user.
"no one should be dealing with grown adults shoving kids, glad she clarified and hope everyone stays safe", shared another.
"comments saying this is damage control yet it takes two seconds to go watch the video and see she is describing that exact story if u lipread… be serious", noted a third.

Others also chimed in:

"this man was probably the most disrespectful in the entire crowd and mind you the child that manon was talking about was standing next to me. i kept enough space in between us just in case but as soon as the katseye members came out he shoved and pushed.", commented a netizen.
"in this video you can see manon being taken from the scene by her bodyguard in a hurry due to the grown man pushing fans and her still looking back saying “stop” to the man", shared another.
"That makes sense. Protecting children in chaotic situations is a real concern, and frustration is natural when adults act recklessly around them. Her clarification shows she cares about safety, not drama with others.", penned a third.
