The Streamer Awards 2025's one of the most viral moments involved India Love. The influencer and model generated widespread online backlash after interrupting the Breakout Streamer of the Year acceptance speech. India Love has recently issued a public apology for her actions.

The Streamer Awards were founded in 2022 by QTCinderella. The event has now become one of the biggest platform-generated award ceremonies in entertainment that honors livestream creators across gaming, commentary, lifestyle, IRL streaming, and internet culture.

On December 6, 2025, during the livestreamed event at the Wiltern Theatre in Los Angeles, FaZe Adapt was announced as the winner of Breakout Streamer of the Year at The Streamer Awards 2025. As the streamer began his acceptance speech, India Love walked onto the stage, took the microphone, and said:

"Breakout Steamer of the Year went to Adapt and congratulations and we respect you for what you did, but Rakai should have won Breakout Streamer of the Year, and DDG. I don't care what y'all say. Shout out Rakai! Shout Out Boom Boom Boom."

India Love addressed the incident in an emotional apology during her latest livestream. She said:

"I want to apologize to QT. QT, what I did, first of all, I appreciate you inviting me and there is no excuse for my behavior. It was very distasteful. It was very, like I keep saying, unnecessary. It was my initial emotion response and that again I had no business being on that stage um you know as a person and who I am as a person and I have to stop disappointing myself by repeating Mistakes keep repeating a cycle that ia obviously not good for me. And I watched something that said, like, your mistakes could either be a coffin or a classroom."

India Love continued her apology, saying:

"And, you know, it could either teach you or it could be the thing that takes you under and kills you or, like, you know. And I am a work in progress every day. And I have to understand what I did to the Twitch CEO, to just everybody. It was just so distasteful. It is not who I am or what I should have did at all. I know what I have to do moving forward, you know, when it comes to me as a person, what I can and can't do."

Online reactions to India Love's emotional apology following the Streamer Awards 2025 incident

FearBuck took to its official X (formerly Twitter) page to post India Love's apology clip, captioning:

"India Love gets emotional as she apologizes for going on stage and saying RaKai and DDG deserved ‘Breakout Streamer of the Year’ over FaZe Adapt at the Streamer Awards: “Your mistakes can either be a coffin or a classroom. They can either teach you, or they can be the thing that takes you under and k-lls you. I’m a work in progress every day.”"

Multiple X users weighed in on the comment section of the X post to pen their thoughts about India Love's statement. One such user said:

"What more do people want really? India Love said she is sorry, she addressed the causes of why she did it, she said she will actively make changes to respect boundaries and changes to better herself. She's had the most mature response to drama out of any streamer this year. Anyone still upset over this is just using it as an excuse to be hateful."

Another netizen opined:

"calling it a mistake implies you tripped and fell onto the microphone. walking up there to trash someone's moment is a choice. you can quote pinterest all you want but you have to sit there and hold that L now."
