Why did India Love interrupt the Streamer Awards 2025? Real reason revealed

The 2025 Streamer Awards were held on December 7, 2025, at The Wiltern Theatre in Los Angeles. The ceremony is considered one of the largest annual events for streamers and online entertainers.

Among multiple notable wins, the event also saw a viral moment when influencer India Love walked onto the stage uninvited during FaZe Adapt's acceptance moment for Breakout Streamer of the Year at the 2025 Streamer Awards.

India Love recently broke her silence about the viral incident during what looked like a video call with someone. She claimed her decision was based on what she saw emotionally happening with nominee Rakai, who did not win the Breakout category at the 2025 Streamer Awards.

India Love stated:

"You know, what needed to happen, needed to happen. I was going to make it happen regardless. I was going to make it happen regardless. You know what is crazy, though, Des? On my life, when I went over there to go talk to Rakai, I did not like his demeanor. Like, Rakai's head was down. Rekai did not have his, like, his light. I am like, nah, niggas need to feel this shit. Like, I don't give a f**k. Like, he just did not have, like, Rakai's head was down. His whole, like, I did not like that s**t."

The interruption from India Love during the Streamer Awards 2025 explained

FaZe Adapt was announced as the winner of the Breakout category at the Streamer Awards 2025. Before Adapt could finish speaking, India Love stepped forward and took the microphone. She said,

"Streamer of the year went to Adapt and congratulations, we respect you for what you did, but Rakai should have won Breakout Streamer of the Year and DDG. I don't care what y'all say. Shout out Rakai. SHOUT OUT. BOOM BOOM BOOM."
