Charlie Kirk’s murder investigation received a new update, as footage detailing the alleged path taken by Charlie’s suspected murderer, Tyler Robinson, circulates online. The alleged path is recreated by popular American field reporter, Tayler Hansen.
In the video shared on his social media pages, Tayler walks the alleged shooter’s path to and from the Utah campus. Tracing the steps that Tyler allegedly took to Utah. How he climbed the roof, took the shot, and ran off.
Tayler wrote on X,
“I retraced Tyler Robinson's exact path into Utah Valley University. From how he entered the campus, where he was caught on security cameras, to the spot where he took the fatal shot that killed Charlie Kirk, the exit he used to flee afterwards and where he stashed his rifle.”
He added:
“Asking questions is a healthy part of uncovering truth in tragedy, but sometimes they stretch far beyond reality, and in this case, they have. That is why I put this video together after extensive research and conversations with law enforcement directly involved in the manhunt. My goal is to cut through the noise, dispel some of the more outlandish claims circulating online, and provide clarity. More footage will be released soon to put additional rumors to rest.”
More details on Charlie Kirk’s murder investigation
Tyler Robinson, a 22-year-old student, gave himself up to the authorities a day after Charlie Kirk was murdered at his event on the Utah Valley University campus. According to ABC, Tyler was convinced by family members to turn himself in after confessing to them.
Prosecutors released text messages allegedly sent by Tyler to his roommate and rumoured lover, who had also been undergoing transition, stating that he killed Charlie because he “had had enough of his hatred.” Tyler Robinson has been charged with aggravated murder, with prosecutors pushing for the death penalty. Tyler Robinson’s first court hearing took place on September 17, 2025.

A woman identified as Bri attempted the court hearing; she was also present at the event where Charlie was murdered. According to Bri, Robinson didn't seem to feel remorse for his actions. As reported by CNN, Bri stated,
“I wanted to see if he felt terrible, sorrowful, regretful. I think I hoped for remorse. But there was nothing.”
Her mother, Keri Rasmussen, who was also present at the trial, added:
“I thought, well, you know, maybe we’ll see a glimpse of something? Nothing. I guess I’m not surprised. I mean, you’ve got to be dead inside to be able to do something like that.”
The next hearing of Robinson is scheduled to take place on September 29.
