"A f*cked up favoritism system": Adin Ross slams Twitch after RaKai receives two-year ban

Adin Ross is publicly criticizing Twitch after the platform issued a two-year suspension to RaKai. The issue went viral online on December 2, 2025, as the 16-year-old streamer shared the ban notice he received from Twitch. It stated that he had been suspended for "illegal activities."

The punishment has been officially set to last until December 2, 2027. It has triggered notable debate among streamers and audiences, including Adin Ross. Some are discussing whether the platform's disciplinary measures are fair and equally applied.

The official Twitch ban notice reads:

"Illegal Activities. Date Received: Dec 2, 2025. 730 Day Suspension. Ends on: Dec 2, 2027. Your account has been suspended for 730 days. Access to your account will be automatically restored after the suspension is served. 730 Day Expiration. This violation will expire from your account on Dec 2, 2027."

The message continues:

"Until then, you may receive escalated consequences if you commit another similar violation. No Ads. Ends on: December 31, 2027. If you are a streamer whose account is eligible for ads, ads will be temporarily removed from your account until Dec 31, 2027. Reason, Illegal Activities. Where the violation occured, VOD."

Adin Ross's statement on RaKai's Twitch ban

FearBuck took to its official X (formerly Twitter) to post that:

"RaKai has been banned on Twitch for 2 years"

Adin Ross weighed in on the comment section of the X post to pen that,

"So ban Hassan for abusing his animal and joking about it , ban nina for stealing and doubling down. Rakai is a kid , he is a stupid kid just like we all were at 17. 2 year ban is absolutely outta pocket , twitch has such a f**ked up favoritism system in place."

"I like you listed all of that, but the fact that you are trying to defend a guy that literally gave flowers to a lady with here paying for them is crazy. Just because he is a kid dosent mean he dose not get banned", penned a third.

On December 2, 2025, RaKai posted a screenshot from his Twitch creator dashboard. The notice included a suspension length of 730 days and specified the violation category as "Illegal Activities." The message also stated that ads would be removed from his channel until December 31, 2027.

The ban came after the 16-year-old participated in a Fortnite wager match with streamer Cody Clix Conrod. After losing with a reported final score of 99-0, RaKai refused to transfer the $6,500 payout. In the clip, he addressed Clix using profanity and insisted he would not pay the wager.
