Amid the ongoing drama surrounding the murder of TPUSA founder Charlie Kirk, conservative influencer Candace Owens has again openly attacked the new TPUSA CEO, Erika Kirk. The clash has sparked a wave of notable reactions across social media platforms.

On December 10, 2025, Candace Owens responded to Erika's recent Fox News remarks and took aim at TPUSA. Taking to her official X (formerly Twitter) page, Candace Owens said:

"It is a positively ABSURD notion that you cannot critique a 150 million dollar organization because the CEO says they are like a family, and are grieving. It is the exact same emotional strategy deployed by BLM in the wake of George Floyd’s death, when I called out their shady financial dealings. I rejected it then and I wholly reject it now. Sorry."

She also added:

"I’m starting to think I have a learning disability because it’s been years and I cannot learn to be like these other hypocrites in politics who can call out David Hogg and BLM for using tragedy to shut down inquiry, but now think it is EVIL when it comes to TPUSA. 😩"

Netizens reacted to her statement, saying:

"The weaponization of people's empathy against them is a gross tactic."

Netizens' reactions to Candace Owens slamming Erika Kirk and TPUSA

Multiple X users weighed in on the comment section of Candace Owens' X post to share their opinions. Below are some of their remarks:

"You’re creating a strawman argument Candace Owens. You are misrepresenting your critics, in order to deflect and ignore criticism of the sinful, destructive behavior you are engaged in. Erika is upset that podcasters like yourself have been recklessly accusing her TPUSA team of literally betraying and conspiring to help murder her husband. You have zero evidence for your wild, cruel accusations that Charlie’s friends and organization are somehow behind his murder (which are getting you podcast views which you then monetize and profit from). What you are doing regarding Charlie is not journalism, “truth seeking,” “just asking questions” or “investigating.” What you are doing is slander, calumny and detraction against the people who were closest to Charlie, and it’s cruel and wrong. You are profiting from attempting to destroy Charlie’ life’s work, and mocking his widow and successor for rightfully calling it out.", penned an X user.
"We are all tired of emotional gas lighting and want answers. I think we can all sympathize with Erika on a personal level but if she can’t do the job of CEO somebody else should.", declared another.
"If people don’t like what you are saying, they should not watch. When people try to shut down others from speaking it’s often because they’re trying to hide something. Also, in this case it is very obvious Charlie's death is being used for political and financial reasons.", commented a third.

Others also chimed in:

"Candace Owens' position is not cruel. It is principled. It is consistent. And it is necessary in a political culture increasingly allergic to uncomfortable truths. If we allow emotion to become a substitute for evidence, or grief to become a gag order, we don't just lose the argument we lose the republic.", opined a netizen.
"Spot on. Today was a masterclass in emotional manipulation, the second Candace Owens started asking real questions, suddenly everyone hid behind “we are grieving, you can’t talk about this.” That’s not compassion. That’s strategy.", commented another.
"Grieving family? Deepest sympathies to the actual family. A $150M+ empire claiming 'family' status to dodge scrutiny? That's not grief; that's a denial-of-critique prior authorization. Rejected then with BLM, rejected now.", penned a third.

Police and prosecutors maintain there is one suspect in Charlie Kirk's assassination: Tyler Robinson. They have not confirmed or supported any of Owens' allegations involving outside actors, foreign governments, or military involvement.
