Online streamer Adin Ross made an announcement through one of his X handles ‘@AR15thed3mon.’ On November 12, at around 4 a.m., he wrote that he would be streaming with 6ix9ine and Playboi Carti through his Twitch channel. Ross shared:
“Hey guys I’ll be streaming on twitch for the 6ix9ine stream , and the Carti stream. No point of doing big streams on kick. Atleast on twitch I will gain followers and mainstream growth I promise I won’t run ads , just doing twitch for discoverability since kick is lacking rn.”
Meanwhile, an X user ‘@BlameMayhem,’ commented on his post:
“yea we heard it before bros trying to renegotiate new deal with eddie.”
Ross replied to him, writing:
“Na they not budging lol I’m not on stake so I don’t really get a say .. Twitch it is.”
Another online commentator said that he said this always but never did it. Adin Ross replied to him:
“I am. Will still do kick for game nights , regular desktops, gambling, and streams that make sense on kick off.”
As per reports, this is not the first time Ross has spoken about shifting his streaming sessions to Twitch. Last year, he mentioned taking the same decision but did not clearly mention the reason at the time. He said the platform offered better growth opportunities. As seen in a video posted by the X account “@suayrez,” Adin Ross said this during one of his streams:
“Literally I got told yesterday, unless I am gambling on Stake, they are not upping my KCIP. So, motherf*ckers don’t even care about Kick no more. I am just being real. That is crazy.”
He added:
“If you are not on stake.com, they will lower your sh*t.”
Looking back at Adin Ross and Playboi Carti’s stream from 2024
Adin Ross and Playboi Carti streamed together last year. When the rapper joined the stream wearing a mask, Ross said his viewers had been waiting for Carti for two hours and they loved him. The streamer then handed Carti a bag full of cash which he said was his gift to the rapper. They measured their heights and while Ross said he was 5’9”, Carti said he was 6’2”. Ross told Carti:
“I really do appreciate you coming though for real I know you don't ever do like this and it means a lot to me you're here and thank you. Shout out to kick again for making this possible and I know Eddie's in here watching this so that's fire.”
Playboi Carti approached the screen and told the viewers that he loved them. He said:
“Thank you so much for everything.[ ] Thank you Adin Ross too for hospitality. It's important that we have like you know good bonds with the streamers.”
Adin Ross then asked Playboi Carti if he played video games but the rapper replied no. Ross said Carti should play a few games with him. He then asked the rapper to tell the viewers to follow him on Kick and Carti did the same.
