Days after exchanging sharp remarks publicly, Candace Owens and Erika Kirk finally met privately on Monday. In the Tuesday episode of her show, Candace Owens discussed her four-and-a-half-hour-long conversation with TPUSA's CEO. The podcaster claimed that she clarified about the alleged text message that Charlie Kirk sent a day before his assassination.

For the unversed, Candace Owens, during her appearance on Myron Gaines' podcast, claimed that Kirk sent a text message to a TPUSA member a day before he was killed. She claimed that, in that text, Kirk wrote, "They're going to kill me."

Recently, Erika Kirk sat for an interview with Glenn Beck, where she said that her husband did not send any such text message. Candace Owens reaffirmed her claim during her recent appearance on Jimmy Dore's show and said that Kirk sent the message to Andrew Kolvet and Dan Flood.

While discussing her private meeting with Erika Kirk in her latest podcast, she stated that Erika Kirk confirmed the presence of such a text message.

"It turns out that he like everybody else communicates on Signal. He communicates on Telegram and that those communication when she heard me say that, they then went and looked and yes what I said was true. Adrew Kolvet received a message the night before and Dan Flood received a message...They clarified that the message that Dan Flood received said, 'The left is going to kill me.' So, I can't confirm that one way or the other. I have to trust them on that because I did not see that concrete message," Owens said.

As the clip from Candace Owens' show surfaced on the internet, netizens were quick to share their thoughts on the new revelation. Many X users disputed the narrative. An internet user commented,

"Owning lies and 'clarifying' them is another level of gaslighting"

Reactions erupt after Candace Owens claims that Erika Kirk accepts the presence of the threat text message

Many raised eyebrows at the seemingly changed behavior towards Erika Kirk. An internet user remarked,

"How much has @RealCandaceO been offered to shift tone and direction?"

Another netizen suggested that TPUSA might have threatened Owens.

"She is stuttering a lot here wonder what they threatened her with."

An X user doubted "the left" narrative and wrote,

"And you believe this vague "the left" line? That leans toward trans narrative. And that's just a hard no, given his text about the donors. So there's still subterfuge and opaque-ness from tpusa and Erika and now they've gotten Candace to be part of that, since she didnt negate"

Another internet user disputed this claim.

"They just threw in 'the left'. Erica asked candace if she had the hard copy of the text. No? Then yeah it said ‘the left’"

Another user questioned whether the aforementioned text was presented to the investigators.

"If this claim is true, has this specific text message been recovered and shared with official investigators?"

Another user expressed the same concern.

"If this is true, why wasn’t this information disclosed immediately to investigators and the public? A murdered man expressing fear he would be killed the night before his death is not a minor detail, it’s central."

Earlier on Tuesday, Megyn Kelly said that she had been working behind the scenes to make the situation better between Candace Owens and Erika Kirk.
