Following streamer Emiru’s alleged assault incident at TwitchCon 2025, another streamer, Brittany Lynn Watts, also known as Cinna, shared her thoughts about doing a meet and greet.
As seen in a video posted by the X account @Awk20000, Brittany explained that she had to cancel her meet and greet because of some issues, but couldn’t cancel her performance.
She said she didn’t want to stay in the same place for two hours since people were acting strangely. However, she couldn’t back out of the show because her contract didn’t allow her to cancel one event and keep the other. Following her statement, she shared a series of X posts clarifying that she meant something else. In a series of posts on her account, @cinnabrit2, she wrote:
“So seeing some misunderstanding with the twitch clip of emis show- my team and my contract specifically wanted me to do a show and meet and greet. When I cancelled, we gave a reason due to not wanting to be in one spot for more than an hour at a time due to security and safety conecrns.”
Cinna further wrote:
“We pulled the meet and greet and my team and I decided to pull out of the show for the exact same reason because of our contract. Twitch didn’t attempt to force me to do the show (however don’t take this as me saying I don’t STILL stand on what I said about safety with What they drop the ball on. I meant that.)”
Cinna’s comments and confession from the road trip to TwitchCon explored
Cinna shared that she would be at TwitchCon and decided to join the show to support her friend. She wanted to make it clear that she wasn’t being forced to go and asked everyone to hold the man involved and the security who allowed him in responsible for what happened. She mentioned:
“Disgusting and what appeared to be completely preventable. He should have been arrested immediately and it blows my f*cking mind that he wasn’t.”
Cinna, along with Emiru and others, took a road trip to TwitchCon 2025. They also streamed the trip. One of the segments was a confession part, in which Brittany said that even though she had to cancel most of her work commitments, she was happy that the trip worked out fine. She also said:
“I got to spend time with all my friends and it was great.”
Cinna said she felt happy because she didn’t get to see her friends often since she was usually busy working. She shared that her favorite part was exploring abandoned places because it was scary and fun.
She liked board games but enjoyed spending time with people even more. For her, the best streams were when she and her friends walked around without any plan. She also said she liked Emily and had learned a lot from her in small ways.
