The entire world is waiting for Diddy's trial to unfold day by day. One of the latest updates to the case is that an individual who is identified as "Victim 3" has not been responding to the prosecutors' team despite numerous attempts to contact her. While the individual remains anonymous, she is speculated to have been involved with Sean John Combs in the past. Some believed that Combs and Victim 3 were in a relationship.

The witness's disappearance has made many wonder if she still intends to attend the court session. The prosecution team has tried communicating with Victim 3's attorney as well, but with no success. The latter has mentioned earlier that she was dealing with "personal issues" that were not disclosed to the court.

Prosecutors fear that Victim 3's inability or unwillingness to testify in court could weaken their case against the rap mogul. She was expected to testify that the rap mogul coerced her into "explicit acts" during their years together, which is also believed to run side-by-side with his racketeering and trafficking activities.

More details about the witness disappearing from Diddy's trial

Diddy's trial started on May 5, 2025, with jury selection, and three days into the proceedings, the prosecution team told Judge Arun Subramanian that they had not been able to get in touch with the witness (Victim 3). This is what the prosecutor, Maurene Comey, had to say:

"We do not know whether she intends to appear, and we are trying very hard to find out because we are having trouble communicating with her counsel."

It should also be noted that Victim 3 does not live in the area, which made attorney Comey say:

"may not show up, even if we try to enforce the subpoena and want to call her."

Maurene Comey is one of the prosecutors who had a hand in proving Ghislaine Maxwell's connection to Jeffrey Epstein as his accomplice.

It has been three days into Diddy's trial, and the next step is for both legal teams to step in and choose the 12 jury members and six alternates. This will be carried out in court on May 9, 2025.
