During an interview with Good Day New York, singer and record producer Al B. Sure said that he believed Diddy could have had a hand in his coma. He also mentioned during the interview that it was his first time admitting it publicly. Al B. Sure, whose real name is Albert Joseph Brown III, also talked about his late ex-partner, Kim Porter's death, as well as being a witness in Diddy's trial.
The clip from Good Day New York was posted on The Art Of Dialogue (@ArtOfDialogue_) X account. It is a 4-minute clip where Brown talked with the hosts about numerous topics from the past. He also brought up the fact that he had talked about Diddy's activities years before they were even brought to light. The 56-year-old singer said:
"I went through many, almost, you know, more than a decade of being scrutinized and clowned by law enforcement. Them telling me, you need some help. S*x trafficking? Really? What's wrong with you? No way... But not realizing they were also working for the situation."
Brown also claimed that Diddy not only had a hand in his multi-system organ failure, which put him in a coma, but he might have had something to do with Kim Porter's death as well. The connection between the three individuals is that Combs and Brown both have children with Porter. Keep reading to learn more about what Al B. Sure said during the interview.
More details from Al B. Sure's interview with Good Day New York
Al B. Sure came on the Good Day New York show to talk about his upcoming book, Do You Believe Me Now?, which is coming out on September 9, 2025.
The singer-songwriter, now author, spoke about the coma he was in for two months in 2022. He also admitted for the first time that Sean John Combs might have had a hand in it. Before saying that, Al B. Sure said:
"I have no interest in speaking about another man. But I will speak about where our paths cross and what's most relevant. Unfortunately, even with Sean being incarcerated, that's not a celebration. There's no celebration in it. First and foremost, there's way too much collateral damage. In many, many ways."
One of the hosts asked if Diddy is threatening to sue Sure, to which he replied:
"No, I have the truth."
Then, they proceeded to ask him if he volunteered to testify at the trial. Browns responded by saying:
"Actually, I was subpoenaed. My attorneys worked something out. So, I believe when the time is right, you know, I'm going to discuss with my attorneys," he also added that he would "absolutely" be willing to testify in court.
Towards the end of the clip, Al B. Sure said:
"...and the only reason why I wanted to tell the story very specifically, because I was ignored. There was the most expensive PR campaign against me to shut me down. If you actually knew what they did to me. There was a bounty on my head, there was a bunch of stuff."
He concludes by saying:
"Remember I'm the only one who spoke up, and I'm the only one left alive."
