Sydney Sweeney has become one of the most talked-about stars in recent years. From hit shows like Euphoria (first aired in 2019) to films like Anyone But You and Madame Web (2024), she knows how to keep fans watching and talking. And now, she is back in the spotlight for a different reason: soap.

This isn’t her first ad collaboration with Dr. Squatch either. Back in October 2024, Sweeney became their brand ambassador. The soap bar she is currently promoting is called Bathwater Bliss. It is described as:

“The ultimate blend of outdoor serenity with refreshing notes of pine, douglas fir, earthy moss, and a touch of Sydney’s Bathwater Bliss.”

It is being sold as a limited edition—only 5,000 bars are out there, making fans even more eager to get their hands on the product. So, did Sydney Sweeney really put her own bathwater in the soap? That part is still unclear. Some fans believe it is simply a clever marketing strategy. Others are taking it quite literally. Either way, the ambiguity is paying off. People are talking, sharing, and laughing.

In the video ad, Sydney Sweeney is seen sitting in a bubble bath. She smiles and says:

“When fans start asking for your bathwater, either ignore it or turn it into a soap. It’s weird in the best way.”

That one line caught everyone’s attention. The ad is flirtatious and funny. At one point, she looks at the camera and adds:

“Hello, you dirty little boys, are you interested in my body… wash?”

Fan Reactions to Sydney Sweeney's new ad

As soon as the video was posted, people rushed to social media. The original post from Pop Base on X got over 2.2 million views in just a few hours. And fans had a lot to say. Some fans were laughing. Others were confused. And many were just trying to figure out if this was real. A few users remarked that it was probably just a joke and clever marketing. Others truly believed there was her real bathwater in the soap. Either way, people clearly seemed excited.

An user @JoeyS54018 commented:

"My GF is going to be mad when I buy this soap"

Another X user, @elsdawg, wrote:

"i’m gonna eat this"

"This is wild. Sydney Sweeney really bottled her bathwater into soap and it’s selling out fast. Honestly, genius marketing or just internet gone too far?"

@CFCAccountable commented,

"I don’t care if my wife doesn’t get the court-mandated child support, I WILL buy all 5,000 bars of soap."

@vesperamyst emphasized the clever marketing strategy:

"the way everybody is hating on sydney but this is actually such a smart business move. tricking men with fake bathwater soap and making them go broke"

What is next for Sydney Sweeney?

While this "Bathwater Bliss" advertisement continues to go viral, Sydney Sweeney is also back on set. She is currently filming the next, and possibly the final, season of Euphoria. The HBO series, created by Sam Levinson, first premiered in 2019 and became a huge hit. But the production of season 3 has taken a long time to begin. There were many delays, including the 2023 Hollywood strikes and the tragic passing of actor Angus Cloud in July 2023. Now, the show is finally in production again.

This new season promises to be different. With the narrative jumping forward in time, the characters will be featured as adults instead of high schoolers. In fact, some fans already spotted Sydney Sweeney filming in a wedding dress, which has sparked all kinds of speculations. Is her character getting married? Is it a dream sequence? Nobody knows yet, but people are excited.

Back to the soap for a moment—the company says the scent of "Bathwater Bliss" includes notes of pine, fir trees, earthy moss, and a touch of Sydney’s bathwater.” Whether that last part is real or just a joke, it is clearly working. Dr. Squatch is getting attention. Sydney Sweeney is trending. And fans can't stop talking.
