Sean Diddy Combs’s legal team has submitted a new bail request, according to TMZ. The music mogul was found guilty of helping move two people across states for prostitution. However, Combs was found not guilty of sex trafficking and racketeering.

According to The New York Times, Combs is expected to receive his sentence in October. Combs is reportedly the only person currently incarcerated in the U.S. for allegedly hiring male sex workers in connection with a romantic partner, according to the motion.

In the same court papers, his team—consisting of Marc Agnifilo and Teny Geragos—reportedly stated that Combs is offering his Florida home as collateral for a $50 million bond. The motion was sent to Judge Arun Subramanian, who is overseeing the case.

The motion also reportedly mentions that he’ll stay in Miami, limit travel to parts of Florida and New York, and give up his passport.

Diddy’s lawyers argue his conviction doesn’t warrant jail time

Combs’ lawyers say it’s unfair he’s still in jail, as most people convicted under the Mann Act are usually released while they wait for sentencing. According to TMZ, Diddy’s lawyers also mentioned that views on sex have changed since 1910.

According to the document, Combs was only found guilty of hiring adult male escorts. His lawyers said that all the people involved were old enough and agreed to the work they did. They contend there is no legal basis for holding Combs in custody before sentencing.

However, this isn’t the first time Diddy has asked for bail. He filed a similar request earlier, which was later denied by the court. The court denied the earlier request and ordered that he remain in custody.
