After weeks and weeks in court, Diddy's verdict was announced on July 2, 2025. According to Judge Subramanian, Combs is supposed to be in detention till he is given his sentence. All eyes have been on Sean Combs and his family to a certain extent for a few months now, which is why every social media move he makes is extremely visible. According to Complex, Sean Combs' X account posted a now-deleted tweet on July 25.

The tweet consisted of a single emoji of a pair of eyes. It was one of the newest posts made by the account since the last, which is a family photo of Sean Combs and his six children posted on May 18. However, it remains unclear if the Bad Boys Records founder himself posted the tweet, if he approved the post, or if someone posted it from his X account.

The reason why many people did not notice the tweet is that only mentioned accounts can see it, according to reports from Complex. However, it is also unclear if others could see the accounts that were mentioned in the quickly deleted post.

Has Diddy shared anything after the tweet-and-delete post?

While the tweet, which consisted of the eyes emoji and the tagged accounts, was quickly deleted from X after it was posted, Sean Combs' X account is active again. 21 hours ago (at the time of writing) on July 26, Sean Combs' X account posted an Apple Music link to stream a song titled DIDDY FREE.

The exact post reads:

"STREAM DIDDY FREE 🔥 STREAM NOW," followed by an Apple Music link. The tweet was signed by Diddy's two sons "@KingCombs @Jdior_"

As for the initial tweet that was deleted, there was no signature at the bottom to identify who posted it.

When will Diddy be sentenced?

After a long trial in court, Judge Subramanian has ordered the former rapper to remain in detention. He was also denied bail ahead of his sentencing. Combs' attorney did not comment on the bail denial, but said:

"a lot of these things are still in process."

As for Combs' sentencing date, he is scheduled to appear in court again a few months from now, on October 3, 2025. His sentencing could range between 10 to 20 years. However, according to Jessica Levinson, a CBS News contributor, she said:

"It sounds like the prosecution is going to be arguing for something potentially over the midline, over five years... It's absolutely not outside of the realm of possibility that there will be some prison time... I do not think that we will see double digit years in prison."

Diddy's sentencing is set for October 3, 2025, with prosecutors expected to push for prison time. As the legal process continues, his social media activity remains under scrutiny, sparking more questions than answers.
