Sean “Diddy” Combs is standing trial in New York. His former girlfriend, called “Jane,” is on the witness stand. She says she took part in strange, drug‑fueled sex events, which she called “hotel nights.” She says they should have stopped and says she cried when one happened on her birthday. She called these things her “shameful dark secret.” Diddy says he is not guilty as he faces charges of racketeering, conspiracy, and sex trafficking. If found guilty, he could go to prison for life.

Jane spoke today in court, and she said that Diddy hired men for these “hotel nights.” She says drugs were used to push her, and she tried to say no. As per reports, she cried and asked him to stop, and she shared text messages between them, and one of those said that she was tired of having sex with strangers. Another said she felt like an animal. As per CNN, one of the texts read,

“I’m not a porn star. I’m not an animal. I need a break I don’t want to do anything I’ve hit a wall."

The jury saw images, videos, and phone records that revealed Diddy paying her rent. They showed messages warning she would lose her home if she resisted.

What Jane says happened between her and Diddy

Jane says the “hotel nights” took place for several years. As per the reports by CNN, it happened from 2021 to 2024. She says he used money to control her and paid her rent so she could be bound to him. She says each night included men who were paid, and also that Combs gave her drugs. She further mentioned that some "nights" lasted as long as three days, which made her feel sick and restless afterwards. Jane told the court she felt forced and drained. She said Combs told her to “charge” him. The text read,

"charge me for your resentment, just need you to get over this"

She also spoke about a time Combs' team tried to set her up with an entertainer named Sly. He threatened to release a sex tape unless she paid $10,000, and that made her panic, and ultimately, she fainted. That tape never came out. But she says a media company reached out that scared her even more. As per the reports by CNN, Jane says Combs hired a lawyer for her after Homeland Security raided his homes in March 2024. She also said the nights continued even after raids, and he brought her to Miami and Los Angeles to take part again.

Why does Jane's story matter?

Jane’s testimony is the third one like this. Another woman, singer Cassie Ventura, spoke in court last year. Cassie has been the prime witness in Diddy's trial, and her testimony really made an impact. The prosecutors argue that these “hotel nights” were not consensual and that he forced women into sex acts. He used money, drugs, fear, and control over them.

Legal experts say Jane's stories could help the case a lot. This highlights Diddy's patterns. He allegedly did this before, during, and after the nights. However, Diddy and his lawyers argue that everything was consensual. He also asked for a mistrial, and he believes that the court is unfair.

The trial began May 5, 2025, in Manhattan, and this is the fifth week. More witnesses will go on the stand, and if Diddy is found guilty, he could face serious consequences. Many reports suggest that the trial may end in July 2025.
