Podcaster Livingston George Allen, popularly known as DJ Akademiks, has reportedly made new claims about a subpoena by Roc Nation. He claimed that streamer Adin Ross was subpoenaed by ROC Nation and Megan Thee Stallion amid their ongoing legal battle with Tory Lanez. For those unversed, Tory Lanez was arrested for alleg edly shooting singer Megan Thee Stallion in 2020. According to BBC News, Tory was reportedly sentenced to 10 years in prison.
During a livestream with Adin Ross, DJ Akademiks (@akademiksTV) was subpoenaed by Roc Nation on July 24, 2025. He clarified that he was not being "sued" but was being called to provide "testimony" against blogger Milagro Gramz in Megan Thee Stallion's lawsuit.
In a new livestream, Akademiks has made new claims about a subpoena involving Adin Ross. He referred to the livestream from July 25 and noted,
"Remember I was on Kick with Adin Ross and I told Adin someone subpoenaed me to do a deposition in a case they are not even suing me in, there's another blogger Milagro."
He added,
“They just subpoenaed Adin Ross, they wanna see if he got paid by Tory (Lanez).”

DJ Akademiks has reportedly claimed that Adin Ross has been called in for a subpoena in Roc Nation and Megan Thee Stallion's legal battle against Tory Lanez. The podcaster claimed that Roc Nation wants to assess if Adin Ross was paid by Lanez. In another clip shared by X user, Opinionated Truths Podcast (@O_Truths), Akademiks can be heard expressing shock and describing it as "legal s**t"; he went on to say,
"At this point, I don't believe that Roc Nation or any of these companies actually believe that Adin Ross got paid by Tory Lanez."
He added,
"Adin Ross is up earning 200 million dollars, you think he got paid? You think Tory paid him like to be on his side. What do you think Tory paid me to be on his side? But that's their thought."
He slammed Roc Nation and noted,
"That's not even a legit thought. I think it's more to harass people. So it's like, 'we are going to bring in Adin Ross and ask him maybe he has talked to Tory in jail.'"
In a recent livestream, DJ Akademiks took shots at the legal battle between Roc Nation, Megan Thee Stallion, and Tory Lanez. The podcaster expressed confusion about himself and Adin Ross being subpoenaed in the legal battle.
