BTS member Jin is making headlines for his impact on Ottogi sales. On September 9, the X handle of Pop Core reported that Ottogi extended its appreciation to Jin, following a 20% year-on-year increase in the overseas sales of Jin Ramen during the first half of 2025. With this increase in sales, the brand reached the highest level achieved in the past five years.

Fans of Kim Seokjin seemed impressed with their idol’s impact on the sales. As a result, his fans overwhelmed social media with their love and admiration for the idol. One of them on X commented:

“Every Brand’s Dream partner. CF KING JIN IMPACT JIN OTOKI GLOBAL AMBASSADOR”

One of Seokjin’s fan said:

Another fan dubbed him King for his impact on sales of all brands he partnered with.

One of his admirers said BTS' Jin on Ramen packaging is a savvy move.

Another fan shared how Jin Ramen was sold out at Costco.

“I bought Jin ramen at Costco. A huge wholesaler here in the US & was so happy to see Jin’s packaging there. The next week I went back to get more, they were all sold out.”

One of his fans said that Jin Ramen became a staple in their pantry ever since the Running Wild idol became it’s ambassador.

“It became a staple in my pantry right after Jin became an ambassador so this is true I even see it in local shops now”

BTS' Jin became an ambassador for Jin Ramen in February

Earlier this year, in February, Kim Seokjin was announced as the global brand ambassador for Ottogi’s Jin Ramen. The Korean food company reportedly made this decision to expand globally. The packaging of Jin Ramen also included stickers with Jin's photos, handwriting, and Wootteo, which created buzz among fans.

The idol has recently appeared as the ambassador and face of several brands, including Dolby Atmos, Alo Yoga, Gucci, Fred Jewelry, Laniege, Visit Seoul, Gelato Pique, and more.
