Ghislaine Maxwell is reportedly willing to testify in front of Congress regarding the Jeffrey Epstein files, sources confirmed to the Daily Mail. The British socialite was convicted on five federal charges for aiding financier Jeffrey Epstein in s*x trafficking and other offenses.

A source told the Daily Mail that Ghislaine Maxwell “was never offered any kind of plea deal.” They added,

“She would be more than happy to sit before congress and tell her story.”

The insider further claimed that none of the government agencies have asked Ghislaine Maxwell to “share what she knows.” They stated,

“She remains the only person to be jailed in connection to Epstein and she would welcome the chance to tell the American public the truth.”

According to the Daily Mail, the source close to Jeffrey Epstein’s former lover and associate claimed that she would “welcome” an opportunity to testify in front of Congress. They continued,

“Congressional hearings have been held into everything from JFK's assassination to 9/11. The Epstein Files rank up there with those cases. Ghislaine would be willing to speak before Congress and tell her story.”

Per ABC News, Maxwell appealed against s*x trafficking conviction in April 2025. Her attorneys mentioned the non-prosecution agreement that Jeffrey Epstein supposedly made with the US government in their petition. They argued that the deceased s*x offender’s agreement covered Maxwell. Her lawyers wrote in their request,

“Despite the existence of a non-prosecution agreement promising in plain language that the United States would not prosecute any co-conspirator of Jeffrey Epstein, the United States in fact prosecuted Ghislaine Maxwell as a co-conspirator of Jeffrey Epstein.”

As mentioned, Ghislaine Maxwell was convicted on five federal charges, more than two years after Epstein’s death. She is currently serving a 20-year sentence. However, during her trial, one of Maxwell’s lawyers, Bobbi Sternheim, highlighted in front of the jury (via the Associated Press),

“The charges against Ghislaine Maxwell are for things that Jeffrey Epstein did. But she is not Jeffrey Epstein and she is not like Jeffrey Epstein.”

Ghislaine Maxwell’s former boss, Jeffrey Epstein, didn’t have an incriminating “client list,” the DOJ and FBI announced recently

The Federal Investigation Bureau and Justice Department made a massive announcement days before the Daily Mail reported about the British socialite and a convicted s*x offender’s willingness to testify in front of Congress. In a joint memo, the DOJ and FBI revealed that Jeffrey Epstein didn’t have an incriminating “client list.” It read:

“This systematic review revealed no incriminating ‘client list.’ There was also no credible evidence found that Epstein blackmailed prominent individuals as part of his actions. We did not uncover evidence that could predicate an investigation against uncharged third parties.”

The memo claimed that the FBI conducted digital and physical searches, uncovering “more than 300 gigabytes of data and physical evidence.” The federal agency and Justice Department also confirmed that “Epstein harmed over one thousand victims” and noted that “each suffered unique trauma.”

The report also maintained that the financier, who was incarcerated at New York’s Metropolitan Correctional Center, died by s*icide. The memo read,

“The conclusion that Epstein died by s*icide is further supported by video footage from the common area of the Special Housing Unit (SHU) where Epstein was housed at the time of his death. As DOJ’s Inspector General explained in 2023, anyone entering or attempting to enter the tier where Epstein’s cell was located from the SHU common area would have been captured by this footage.”

It further read,

“The FBI’s independent review of this footage confirmed that from the time Epstein was locked in his cell at around 10:40 pm on August 9, 2019, until around 6:30 am the next morning, nobody entered any of the tiers in the SHU.”

Following the release of the joint memo, the FBI has concluded its investigation and will end its probe into the connections of figures like Prince Andrew. For the unversed, the royal faced allegations from Virginia Giuffre in connection with his ties with Epstein, with whom he settled outside court in 2022, without admitting any guilt.
