Grant Ellis and Juliana Pasquarosa ended their months-long relationship earlier this month, with the former announcing the same through Instagram Stories. The couple was reportedly engaged since October but mutually decided to split. Ellis wrote in one of his Instagram Stories on Friday, June 13, 2025 (via People),

“This is one of the harder things I've had to write, but I want to share it honestly. Juliana and I have decided to end our relationship.”

Grant Ellis implied that the split was amicable and shared how their relationship might not have survived for a longer period. He wrote,

“We both gave this our best and poured a lot of love into each other, but after a lot of deep conversations, we've come to the understanding that we're simply not the right fit long term. What we had was meaningful. The connection we built on the show was real, and so was the effort we made to continue once the cameras stopped rolling.”

Ellis asserted in his June 13 story that there was neither “negativity” nor “resentment” between him and Juliana Pasquarosa. He shared that it was just “two people who care about each other and want the best for one another moving forward.” According to People, Grant Ellis explained during an Instagram Live session that it was a mutual split rather than a unilateral breakup.

For those unaware, the ex-couple met during The Bachelor Season 29 and eventually got together. Read on to learn more about the reality TV stars’ relationship timeline.

The pair, who started dating on ABC’s dating reality TV series, met for the first time last year. The Bachelor Season 29, which starred Grant Ellis, featured Juliana Pasquarosa as a contestant. They met when the filming commenced in September 2024. According to Cosmopolitan, the pair had their first “one-on-one” date in October in Edinburgh, Scotland.

In the “Week 6: Hometowns” that aired in March, Grant met Juliana’s family. Per @RealitySteve on X (via Cosmopolitan), the visit was originally shot on October 11, 2024. As of mid-October, Grant Ellis was reportedly dating the Season 29 runner-up, Litia Garr, but broke up with her. Following their split, the reality star proposed to Juliana in the Dominican Republic, per Cosmopolitan.

The Bachelorette Season 21 contestant got engaged to The Bachelor Season 29 winner in October, but the couple kept their relationship secret for months. The reality TV series concluded its nine-episode-long run in March, and the finale revealed Grant Ellis and Juliana Pasquarosa’s engagement.

After officially debuting as a couple in the finale, they began their press tour. Grant told People about taking things slow.

“I think that we are taking it one day at a time. Right now, we are learning each other and we're falling more in love with each other every day.”

Juliana Pasquarosa voiced similar thoughts and asserted that they are not rushing for a wedding. However, a couple of months later, Grant announced their break-up through Instagram Stories. A few days after Ellis, Juliana also posted about the conclusion of “The Bachelor” chapter of her life. She shared a few of her pictures and wrote,

“Closing this chapter with a healing heart and a quiet kind of peace. Not because it was all easy, but because I made it through with grace and growth. I’m proud of who I’ve become because I’ve worked through what’s tried to break me. I choose happiness every day because I’ve experienced what it feels like to lose it and what kind of fight it takes to get it back.”

She also thanked Grant and The Bachelor for providing her with the opportunity. Juliana Pasquarosa wrote,

“I am so thankful for the opportunity that The Bachelor & Grant gave me to open my heart & mind to new experiences and new love. The community of people who watched & supported my journey is something I am eternally grateful for. I hope we can move forward together and bring more love into this world, because that’s what we all need more of <3.”

According to Us Weekly, Grant Ellis and Juliana Pasquarosa unfollowed each other on Instagram recently. As mentioned, The Bachelor star also revealed in a live session on the platform that he mutually parted ways with his former fiancée.
