"That’s just what the dog has": iDubbbz comes to HasanAbi rescue amid ongoing animal abuse controversy following wife Anisa Jomha

YouTuber Ian 'iDubbbz' Jomha has reportedly come to streamer HasanAbi's defence amid the ongoing animal abuse controversy. For those unversed, netizens alleged that Hasan Piker had put a "shock collar" on his dog, Kaya, after she let out a yelp during a livestream on October 7. Following backlash from followers and, more recently, PETA, some streamers, including iDubbbz, have defended Hasan.

iDubbbz addressed a follower's query regarding the same during a livestream on October 10. In a clip shared by X user @Awk20000, Ian claimed,

"It was confirmed that it was a f**ng vibration collar..not even that he used it, that’s just what the dog has.”

YouTuber Tectone, who has been regularly posting against Hasan and has alleged animal abuse, took to the comment section. He (@tectone) wrote,

"Are yall noticing the only ones who are defending Hasan are the ones who are audience captured by his community."

iDubbbz, Anisa, and others show support for HasanAbi amid ongoing animal abuse controversy

IDubbbz reportedly defended HasanAbi by claiming that Kaya had a "vibrating collar" on and not a "shock collar." This comes after Ian's wife, Anisa Jomha, took a jab at YouTuber Ethan Klein, who has been actively alleging HasanAbi of animal abuse. Anisa took to her X on October 7 and shared Ethan's story on her channel. She described herself as a "big dog advocate" and claimed that she had met Hasan's dog and wrote,

"I’ve met Kaya, I saw Kaya while Hasan was streaming. She never had a shock collar on. She was good at her place command but that’s very easily accomplished with positive reinforcement. I would be very very surprised if this was actually Kaya reacting to a shock collar."

She added,

"Just because Ethan’s a horrible dog owner and can’t train his dogs worth s*it doesn’t mean other people are using shock collars."

Apart from Ian and Anisa, Hasan's friend and streamer, Valkyrae, also offered support. According to Dexerto, she addressed the concern during a livestream on October 9 and noted,

"I can verify that Kaya is most loved & spoiled & just the most well trained & best big baby..u would think this kind of outrage u would have seen toward the gen*cide..priorities in this world aren’t where they should be”
