Karina Irby shared a few updates on her Instagram stories and posts. The Australian influencer and business owner shared a comparison of how different her weekdays went from Saturday to Sunday. One of the houses that she owned was badly damaged due to a fire. According to Irby, there was a couple living in the house with their two children. However, none of them were injured.

In one of the Instagram stories, Karina Irby took a picture of the hot water system and captioned it:

"Well our Sunday has been awesome."

This was followed by another photo of the ceiling that had been burned away. She wrote:

"Today we had a fire in our investment unit. Thankfully, everyone is safe, which is all that really matters... Still, seeing the damage to a family's belongings, especially right before the holidays with two little kids, has really shook me... I'm sharing this because life is always aesthetic and predictable."

She continued:

"Real life happens in the middle of everything, and today reminded me to slow down, be grateful, and check in on the people around you... Moments like this put everything in perspective... Things can be replaced, but people can't, and I'm holding on to that today."

Karina Irby posted a comparison photo of her Saturday and Sunday, showing her fans how unexpected life can be. She especially mentioned that life is not always "aesthetic" or "predictable."

She took to Instagram to express her sadness. She captioned the post:

"Shine to smoke in less than 24 hours. We had a completely random fire break out in our investment unit on Sunday. Thankfully everyone is safe, and honestly, that’s all that really matters. But seeing an investment I’ve worked so hard for (and is currently in settlement!) get damaged…
and seeing a family’s belongings destroyed right before the holidays, with two little kids…
it’s really shaken me."

She clarified:

"I’m not sharing this for sympathy, just being real.
Life behind the screen isn’t always pretty, aesthetic, or predictable. Real life happens right in the middle of everything. Today reminded me to slow down, be grateful, and check in on the people around you."

Some of the photos she shared included a bikini picture of herself on Saturday, next to a picture of herself crying on Sunday. It also included a beach photo on Saturday and a burnt hot water system on Sunday, and a photo of yachts on Saturday next to firetrucks on Sunday.

Karina Irby's weekend showed how quickly life can change. It went from a normal Saturday to dealing with a fire in her property on Sunday. Even though the damage was heartbreaking, she was grateful that the family living there was safe. The incident reminded her to slow down and be thankful, as well as to remember that people matter more than belongings
