Kanye West is in the middle of yet another headline storm. This time, it’s over a leaked project with the jaw-dropping rumored title CUCK.
The alleged album surfaced briefly on YouTube on May 18 before being promptly taken down. Fans were quick to react, some confused and outraged, and many pointing to Ye’s increasingly unpredictable behavior as the reason behind the unauthorized release.
Then, on May 19, Kanye finally addressed the chaos himself through an X.com post:
“Somebody got a drive and threw it on YouTube and said this is CUCK. What I love about getting blocked on DSPs and having songs leaked and shows cancelled is… It proves everything I’m saying and why I’m saying.”
The “canceled show” he mentioned refers to his upcoming concert in South Korea, which was reportedly called off due to “recent controversy” surrounding the rapper. Per AllHipHop, not only was the show pulled, but organizers also froze sales of Yeezy merch in the region.
To add fuel to the fire, speculation swirled around one particularly disturbing track from the leak, titled UNCLE, which fans theorized was about Kanye’s wife, Bianca Censori.
Ye also didn’t hold back in shutting that down.
“UNCLE is not on CUCK and is not about my wife.”
Other songs that popped up in the leak include Diddy Free, Free My Kids, and Dirty Magazines. None have been officially confirmed as part of any of his forthcoming releases, and it’s unclear whether these songs were rough demos, finalized tracks, or even authentic.
The original leak reportedly began circulating on Discord, where the uploader allegedly revealed their motive. In a now-deleted message, the leaker claimed:
“All proceeds from this album group buy will be donated to the US Holocaust Memorial Museum… Glorifying fascism is not ‘art’, ‘love speech’ is just an excuse to say outrageous st for attention. Kanye West is a 50-year-old spineless braindead deadbeat drug addict porn addict Nazi b*h.”
The leak has resurfaced conversations around Kanye’s controversial Heil Hitler single, which was heavily criticized for its stark imagery and inflammatory message.
