‘It’s lame’: KaniRosi responds to Chrisean Rock’s claim that FaZe Adapt didn’t deserve his Streamer Award win

Streamer KaniRosi has reportedly given her two cents on Chrisean Rock’s claim that FaZe Adapt didn’t deserve his Streamer Award win. For those unversed, Chrisean described the 2025 Streamer Awards as "racist" for reportedly snubbing DDG and Rakai. The singer went on to question FaZe Adapt's 'Breakout streamer of the Year' win, while also dismissing his social media presence.

X user @KaniRosiupdates took to their channel to share a clip from Kani's recent stream, in which she can be heard responding to Chrisean's claims. She noted that she "hates" people on the internet "who discredit" other people's work. She continued,

"'They'll be like "oh, who's even that? I have never heard of this person before."

She continued,

"Whether you knew about them or not, like they were famous to begin with, or popular to begin with, you know what I mean? Yeah, it's just lame, bro."

She went on to counter Crisean's claims and added,

"If you don't know who he is, how do you know if he deserves it or not?"

KaniRosi retorts to Chrisean Rock's thoughts about the Streamer Awards

Singer Crisean Rock's comments about The Streamer Awards reportedly drew significant backlash after she dismissed Faze Adapt's win and described the event as "racist." Many, including streamer KaniRosi, expressed her frustration about Chrisean's claims, describing them as "lame." In her stream, Kani continues to say,

"Just because you have not heard of them doesn't mean that they aren't important, exactly!"

KaniRosi went on to describe her experiences of being a streamer and noted,

"I have had people do that to me too, they'll be like "who the f*** is Kani? I didn't know about Kani until Max came around." It's like before Max came around, I had a million TikTok followers.'"

She added,

"Not trying to sound like too much or too little, but I already had a community on there to begin with."

KaniRosi came in defence of the 2025 Breakout Streamer of the Year, Faze Adapt. The streamer slammed Chrisean Rock's claims and noted that if she doesn't know a person, that doesn't imply they aren't popular. She added that she has experienced similar comments about her work, particularly being linked to Plaqueboy Max.
