Streamer and YouTuber Ludwig Ahgren shared his thoughts about HasanAbi’s controversy about using a shock collar on his dog, Kaya. During a recent streaming session, he was asked if he thought HasanAbi had shocked his dog, to which he replied that he had no idea. Ahgren said:
“I think he lied about having a shock collar. I think he had a 100% shock collar based on what’s on my ForYou page, maybe I am getting PSYOP-ed. He’s adamant that he hasn’t shocked her but that 100% is a shock collar as a fact. I feel like that sh*t is a 100% shock collar. But I got no clue.”
Social media users reacted to Ludwig’s statement, with one X user commenting:
“Literally said “but I have no clue” a second later.”
Another online commentator wrote:
“Hasan’s grip on power within his cult is slipping I wasn’t expecting this.”
Others tried to find out why Ahgren might have said this. One social media user mentioned:
“For ludwig it's just a weigh off what will get him the least amount of backlash. if the public opinion wasn't so much against hasan he would not be saying this.”
Another X user said:
“I would say he finally decided to grow a spine but in his own words, its now more popular to sh*t on hasan than to be on his side so it could just be the safer choice aswell.”
A netizen jokingly commented:
“Hasans gunna zap ludwig now.”
Ludwig says he became deeply attached to HasanAbi’s dog collar controversy
Ahgren also criticized his viewers who said that he would get a call from HasanAbi for his opinion on the dog collar controversy. He said those people who held this opinion were pathetic. Ludwig said those people still pretended to live at a time when speaking out against someone was considered brave.
During another streaming session, presumably from last week, Ahgren said he became deeply attached to the dog collar controversy. He said it so happened that he and YouTuber Michael Reeves were hanging out recently, and Reeves told him that a Patreon member had unsubscribed. The reason behind the member's unsubscribing was that Reeves was on good terms with Ludwig, who was also a friend of HasanAbi’s. Ahgren said:
“So I paid for dinner for Michael yesterday because of that. But how many degrees of separation are you going? You're pretty deep at that point. I wouldn't even call that guilty by association.”
He went on to say:
“Well, I think what I suffer from is the teacher phenomenon. I've long held a huge distinction between my actual friends and then my streamer friends. I have very very few friends who are streamers in reality.”
Ludwig said that what he did in his personal life didn’t matter because people mostly saw him through how he appeared online. He explained that viewers likely thought his closest friends were people like Sea Dog, Ba, Squeaks, HasanAbi, Valkyrie, and Fooley, since he spent the most time with them.
He also joked that people seemed to believe he disliked Lily Pichu, which was something everyone accepted.
