Meghan Markle is leveling up. As she kicks off a fresh chapter in her post-royal career, the Duchess of Sussex has tapped a major player to help her take the reins — Sarah Fosmo, who previously worked for none other than Bill Gates.

According to The Telegraph, Fosmo has been named Meghan’s very first chief of staff and will serve as her top adviser during what's shaping up to be a very busy year. She will be overseeing a slate of projects that includes season two of Meghan’s Netflix cookery show With Love, Meghan, her lifestyle brand As Ever, and the buzz-worthy podcast Confessions of a Female Founder.

With a stacked resume at her disposal, she spent six years at Gates Ventures, Bill Gates’ private office, and before that, seven years with motivational megastar Tony Robbins.

The Telegraph describes her role as overseeing “this dynamic period of growth.” And if that sounds like business-speak, Fosmo’s own description of herself drives it home.

“An accomplished professional with an extensive, long-tenured career managing complex, high-stakes operations for ultra-high net worth individuals.”

Meghan and Prince Harry have a denim-clad date night at Beyoncé's “COWBOY CARTER” show

Meghan, tapping Bill Gates’ former aide, comes after she and husband Harry went on a date night at Queen Bey’s “COWBOY CARTER” tour in L.A. — and they looked completely smitten doing it.

Beyoncé shared snaps from her May 9 concert at SoFi Stadium, including a cozy photo of the Duke and Duchess cuddled up in a private suite.

Meghan wowed in an off-the-shoulder denim dress, while Harry kept it cool in jeans, a dark tee, and a green cap. Meghan wrote on Instagram the next day:

“About last night…. Thank you @beyonce and team for an amazing concert (and a very fun date night)! All love.”

The royal couple also attended Beyoncé’s “Renaissance World Tour” last September, proving their Beyhive status is as strong as ever.

Zara Tindall reveals that even royals go “through the same struggles other people do”

This huge career move for Meghan comes as the royal family continues to navigate personal challenges of their own.

Zara Tindall, daughter of Princess Anne and King Charles’ niece, opened up in The Sun about how even royals aren’t immune to life’s messy moments.

“It is very hard to see from the outside but, 100 percent, it is a family that is still going through the same struggles other people do.”

She went on:

“Whether they are relationships, obviously it is very easy to see every day. We’re still very supportive of each other.”

Her honest comments come on the heels of a difficult year for the royals, with both King Charles and Princess Kate revealing they were undergoing cancer treatment. While Kate announced she was cancer-free last fall, the King is still receiving ongoing care.

As Meghan builds her brand empire with a new power player by her side, the royal family continues to weather its own storm, reminding everyone that fame, fortune, and titles don’t make you immune to real life.
