Reacting to columnist Phil Holloway’s post on X, Candace Owens claimed that more people were involved in Charlie Kirk’s killing, saying,

"More people were involved and we need to know whom."

Officials, however, have maintained that Robinson acted alone, stressing the investigation has not linked anyone else to the crime.

Kirk was shot and killed on September 10, when he was holding a debate at Utah Valley University. On Friday morning, the authorities confirmed that the prime suspect in the killing of the founder of Turning Point USA was in custody. The suspect has been identified as a 22-year-old man named Tyler Robinson.

During the news conference, authorities suggested that Robinson acted alone and denied the involvement of others at this point. As per NBC, when Utah Governor Spencer Cox was asked if more arrests would be made in the case, he responded:

"We do not have information at this time that would lead to additional arrests, but the investigation is ongoing."

Columnist Phil Holloway posted a tweet on X claiming Tyler Robinson was "communicating" with others about Charlie Kirk's assassination. Candace Owens reacted to this post.

While agreeing with Holloway, she added:

"Correct. More people were involved and we need to know whom. A lot of school shootings are related to discord chats so there is an underground emerging and we need to know who the directors of it are."

Candace Owens paid tribute to Charlie Kirk in her podcast

The right-wing podcaster worked with Charlie Kirk at his organization, Turning Point USA, and also appeared in many TV debates with the late activist. In the September 11 episode of her podcast Candace Owens talked about her bond with Kirk. She referred to Kirk as her "brother" and "best friend" during the episode.

"We were really close and he was he was my best friend and my brother," Owens said.

Elsewhere in the podcast, the political commentator recalled working with Charlie Kirk when they would go to political debates on the news. She recounted how the late activist would motivate her.

"And we had a motto, couple of mottos, but Charlie's was 'We can always outwork our opponents.' I can't tell you how many times we looked at each other and we said, 'We can outwork them.' Everyone was bigger than us, but no, not working harder than us," she added.

Later in the podcast, Owens said that Kirk loved his family and country, adding that he "didn't deserve that ending." While expressing her emotions, she affirmed to carry forward Kirk's legacy.

"I know that um, we will carry the torch. I will never allow the memory of Charlie to be forgotten, obviously, because there is no Candace without Charlie." Owens stated.

Amid Candace Owens and others' skepticism about the larger involvement of people in Charlie Kirk's killing, officials have not linked anyone else to the crime. As per NBC, the suspect, Tyler Robinson, has no criminal history. He was turned in by a family member and is currently being held at Utah County Jail.
