Singer Nicki Minaj took to her X channel in the wee hours of June 21 to lash out at the industry. While the singer didn't explicitly mention names, she reportedly started making claims about Demoree Hadley's legal fight with her mother, Desiree Perez, CEO of the entertainment company Roc Nation.

For those unversed, Demoree had reportedly filed a legal suit against her mother, alleging that the latter used "unlawful means" to detail Demoree under Florida’s Baker Act and Marchman Act, per NBC News.

Nicki Minaj took to her X channel to drop numerous posts. She wrote in one post (@nickiminaj) that it all feels "familiar" and reportedly indicated at Demoree's case:

"Trying to tear a husband away from his wife & family with lies & friends in high places. Yuck. No more distractions."

Following the post, added another post with the hashtag, JusticeforDem. Nicki alleged that all posts about Demoree and Nicki were reportedly being flagged. She added:

"Barbz save all info on everytime you get flagged or suspended & what platform it’s on…"

Nicki Minaj's most recent album, Pink Friday 2, came out in December 2023. Her fans were left wondering if she would be releasing music anytime soon. After her latest collaboration with Lil Wayne on a new single, the singer took to her social media to lash out at the industry and allegedly expose Roc Nation and the industry.

She reposted tweets of fans claiming that they are unable to repost, Banned from NO lyrics, or post anything about Demoree Hadley. She claimed (@NickiMinaj) in another tweet:

"They’ve had access to my accounts on all platforms. I didn’t change the passwords either. I let them continue doing everything they allegedly did to Demoree to MEEEEEE. And you have no idea how disgusting it gets. Enough is enough."

Nicki Minaj asked her fans in another post (@Nickiminaj):

"Would you continue working in a field where you were maliciously being kept away from your audience while everyone pretends to be mute?"

Minaj described this as "the real reason" why she "won't release music." In her most recent post, she addressed individuals who are calling her a "liar" and noted that everything is "detailed" on Demoree Hadley's page.

The posts come ten days after she was featured on Lil Wayne's new remix track, Banned from NO. In other news, the track reportedly is the only female rap song to debut at #1 on US iTunes in 2025.
