"Oh flop z don't cry": Fans react after Taylor Swift dethrones Drake & Jay-Z to have the most #1 Billboard 200 albums as a soloist

Taylor Swift is now reeling from the success of her recently released twelfth studio album, "The Life of a Showgirl." According to Billboard, the Grammy-winning singer has once again made history by becoming the first artist with the most no.1 albums on the Billboard 200 chart. This record-breaking news has lead to fans celebrating the milestone, as she dethroned Jay-Z to claim the top spot. One fan wrote on X (formerly Twitter):

"Oh flop z don't cry🤣."

This is not the only milestone Taylor Swift Swift has broken with her new album, "The Life of a Showgirl," which was released on October 4. Just last week, despite recieving mixed reception from fans and critics, the album became the most-streamed album in Spotify history within just twelve hours of its release.

Taylor Swift's new album, "The Life of a Showgirl" recently became her fifteenth album to reach the No.1 spot on the Billboard 200 Chart. According to reports, the "Blank Space" singer is now the only solo artist to have achieved this feat, surpassing both her own previous record and those previously held record by Drake and Jay-Z.

According to Billboard, Jay-Z had earned his record ealier this year, in March, when his album, "$ome $exy $ongs For U," created in collaboration with singer PartyNextDoor, reached the coveted No.1 spot. The only other artist to have more no.1 albums on the Billboard 200 Chart is The Beatles, with nineteen no. 1 albums.

Apart from this, Taylor Swift's lead single, titled "The Fate of Ophelia" became the first song in Spotify history to surpass 100 million streams in a record time. Soon after the news broke of Taylor Swift becoming the first solo artist to achieve fifteen consecutive No. 1 debuts on the Billboard 200 Chart, her fans took to X (formerly Twitter) to express their excitement. This one fan wrote:

"the way taylor is knocking off these men from their records, what a diva."

Another wrote:

"If you woudl have told me in 2015 Taylor would be bigger than Katy Rih Miley Ariana Gaga I would have laughed … congrats Taylor."

This fan tweeted:

"Knowing her I think she’s set her sights for The Beatles record next."

"She’s the goat 🐐🐐" said another.

This person added:

According to People Magazine, Taylor Swift was spotted at Travis Kelce's game against the Detroit Lions on Sunday, October 12, marking it her first public appearance since the couple announced their engagement on August 26.
