Reality TV star and entrepreneur Kylie Jenner has shown the world her singing capabilities with the release of Fourth Strike on October 14. Jenner gave her vocals to the new song of Terror Jr. With the song she also embraced the King Kylie era, a nod to her 2014 looks. Earlier, the Kylie Cosmetics founder used Terror Jr.'s Three Strikes in the campaign for her lip gloss.
Kylie Jenner's music venture created a buzz on the internet. On October 16, the Kardashians alum shared a Q&A video on her YouTube channel, discussing her singing experience. During the session, when a question on the possibility of more music from Jenner in the future popped up, she replied,
"I hope so. I would love to try. Yes. I think it was that was so much fun that I don't want it to end. And I think why not? I think we should try. Let's like make an album. Let's make an album. And then if we're not like feeling it, we'll just listen to it ourselves."
As the clip of Jenner talking about releasing an album surfaced on the internet, many netizens shared their reactions. A netizen teased by saying,
"taylor is shaking"
Netizens react to Kylie Jenner talking about releasing a full album
An X user poked fun at Jenner's hinting at releasing a full album.
"is that a threat?"
Another user accused the Kylie Cosmetics founder of talking about the album like releasing a new lip gloss venture.
"She’s talking like a girl starting a lip gloss brand, not a whole album. Only billionaires can treat a music career like a Pinterest project and still chart."
A netizen wittily remarked.
"Me when I have money and dk what to do with it. Oh how i wish"
However, not everyone on the internet had reservations about Kylie Jenner's music. Some X users extended their support to The Life of Kylie star. A netizen praised Fourth Strike and demanded an album from Jenner.
"YES! Please make this album happen. "Fourth Strike" was so good, I'd love more music from King Kylie."
Another internet user demanded more collaborative music from Kylie Jenner and Terror Jr.
"that's lit. let's hope we get more of that Jenner x Terror Jr magic"
An X user suggested that Jenner could also dominate the music industry after making strides in the cosmetics world.
"Kylie Jenner making music: because why not dominate another industry"
In her Q&A video, Kylie Jenner shared her experience of recording her debut song. She stated that it was always her "dream" since she came "out of the womb." She added that she always wanted to be a "pop star."
Further in the video, she noted that it was her age that played a major role in pushing her to record the song.
"I think turning 28 just does something to you. I’m gonna be 30 soon, and I just don’t want to look back on life and have any regrets, and this is something I’ve always wanted to try," Jenner said.
The entrepreneur added that although she didn't think that she was like "Adele or anything," she always "wanted to try to see" if she could do it. She opened up about her nervousness at the first recording session for Fourth Strike. Kylie Jenner revealed that she resorted to "vodka sodas" to overcome the nervousness.
