E-sports brand FaZe Clan shared an X post on their esports page on December 29. They announced that despite their content space shutting down, they were letting the esports vertical remain functional. The post read:“FaZe Esports is here to stay. We remain our own separate operation, and our focus stays the same - bringing home trophies, building world class rosters, and putting on a show for the best fans in esports. Sometime in April 2024, he shared a video mentioning how he got kicked out of the brand. Despite the outcome, he thanked FaZe for creating an impact on his life. He shared that the name “FaZe” was his idea. At the time, the founders did not think that it would be such a renowned brand. ClipZ remembered:“We started the collective and we never would have thought it was going to go where it went but it did. We started popping off. We started getting a ton of views and things like that. Things were changing fast. We were growing we one of the first tryouts we had. We recruited FaZe Temperrr who you guys know today as one of the owners.”ClipZ mentioned that something happened between Temperrr and the other founders of the FaZe Clan, and Temperrr ended up having access to the ID and password of the group’s YouTube channel. Speaking about how he was kicked out of FaZe Clan, ClipZ said:“Even though I'm a founder, I was able to be kicked because early on. I kind of lost that ownership status. It was taken from me. Again, nothing but love and respect for everyone involved in the whole journey of FaZe Clan. I think that there's a lot of butterfly effect involved with it.”Despite everything, ClipZ said he was “super grateful” for all the opportunities he received. It changed his life, and he had no negative feelings towards anyone.
