Bailey filed for a temporary restraining order against DDG earlier this month. She came to the decision to protect her son.

According to a report by The Cut, she accused her ex, citing multiple reasons including "multiple acts of physical violence" and being "verbally, emotionally, and financially abusive."

According to the allegations, DDG remained abusive throughout their two-year relationship and after their separation as well.

Halle alleged that DDG assaulted her and pulled her hair when she tried to strap their son into the car seat. In the court filings, she mentioned that "things got physical." The duo "fought each other, wrestling and tussling." She even got her tooth chipped after DDG slammed her face on the car's steering wheel.

Suffering "a lot of pain," the actress stopped fighting back during that moment. She also added pictures of her bruises in the court documents.

Things escalated worse in March after the rapper allegedly entered Halle's home without her permission. She was not present at the time. At that moment, DDG sent her a photo of her bed with a "threatening text."

Later, Halle also expressed her disappointment, stating that DDG was badmouthing her on social media "to his several million fans." In a March YouTube live stream, he blamed his ex for separating him from his son.
