"They’re all full pathological liars": Kim Kardashian lashes out at family's psychics after failing California bar exam

Kim Kardashian is frustrated after failing the California bar exam again. The reality star took her feelings to social media, calling out her family’s team of psychics for giving her false hope. In a TikTok video from Kris Jenner’s 70th birthday celebration, the Skims founder did not hold back her thoughts about the predictions she received.

While getting her makeup done for the event, Kardashian spoke into her phone and expressed anger toward the psychics who had told her she would pass the bar.

“All of the f--king psychics that we have met with, and that we’re obsessed with, are all f--king full of s---,” she said in the clip.

According to her, at least four psychics had told her the same thing that she would pass.

“They all collectively, maybe 4 of them, have told me I was gonna pass the bar, so they’re all full pathological liars, don’t believe anything they say,” Kardashian said.

The video quickly drew attention online, with fans reacting to both her frustration and her continued commitment to finishing law school.

Kim Kardashian’s journey toward becoming a lawyer

Since 2019, Kim Kardashian has been very clear about her desire to become a lawyer. She opted for a route that does not include law school but rather took the opportunity for an alternative law clerkship offered by the state of California, which permits a four-year apprenticeship program in a San Francisco law office. This program permits students to work under licensed lawyers and ultimately take the bar examination without the benefit of classroom instruction.

These things did not come easily for her. Kim Kardashian failed the baby bar or the First-Year Law Student’s Examination three times before she passed it on her fourth attempt in 2021.

“OMFGGGG I PASSED THE BABY BAR EXAM!!!!” she wrote on X,adding that it was one of her proudest moments. She said the experience showed her how persistence could lead to success.

In 2025, Kim Kardashian completed her Law Office Study Program after six years. She explained on Instagram that the process took longer than planned due to the COVID-19 pandemic and her work schedule.

“Six years ago, I embarked on an unconventional path to pursue my dream of becoming a lawyer,” she wrote. “It wasn’t easy, but I never gave up.”

Kim Kardashian’s connection with the spiritual world

Kim Kardashian has long been associated with mediums and psychics. Over the years, Kim has told people that she goes to them often for guidance in her life. In 2024, Kim appeared on The Kardashians and told Khloé that every time she goes to a medium, they tell her something about her late father, Robert Kardashian Sr.

“They always say, ‘Your dad is coming through to tell you that you’re not going to be able to stop North. She wants to have a big career and you’re not going to be able to hold it back,’” Kim said.

In 2019, she had Theresa Caputo, the Long Island Medium, to her home so she would have a private reading with her sister, Khloé Kardashian. She said that it was “probably one of the best days of my life,” but that she could not divulge to anyone what Caputo had told her, showing that Kim has put a lot of trust in the guidance and predictions that have come to her through the channelers.

However, from comments recently made by her, it attacks the faith that has been given to them. After hearing of her failure to pass the bar, she commented that she had felt misguided by the readings.

“They all told me I was going to pass,” she said. “They were wrong.”
