Singer D4vd, whose real name is David Anthony Burke, is linked to an ongoing police case in Los Angeles. A decomposed body was discovered in a Tesla registered in his name earlier this month. The victim was identified as 15-year-old Celeste Rivas Hernandez.

Soon after, an unfinished demo by D4vd titled Celeste began circulating online. Metadata from the leaked track suggests it was created in 2023, almost a year before the victim went missing. This detail has raised questions about a possible link between the demo and the victim.

There is no official confirmation of any connection between the girl and the song. Still, the shared name and references in the demo have sparked online speculation. The LAPD has confirmed that the death is being investigated as a homicide.
