A clip of Charlie Kirk making comments about Nicki Minaj is going viral on the internet. The late right-wing political activist passed away in September this year, after he was shot at a campus debate gathering at Utah Valley University in Orem. In the 38-second clip, Charlie Kirk was saying:"Right now, Black culture is being held captive by influencers, songs, and role models."The other person continued to ask Charlie which influencers he was referring to, to which he responded by saying:"I mean, Nicki Minaj, Cardi B... I don't think that's a good role model for 18-year-old Black girls."The clip then cuts to Erika Kirk, Charlie's widow, who spoke highly of Minaj in a recent TPUSA America Fest. She said:"I love this woman. She is an amazing woman. She has a soul and a heart for the Lord, and words are words, but I know her heart, and it doesn't even matter," after which the clip immediately cuts to Nicki Minaj's appearance in Big Sean's music video for Dance (A$$) Remix. An X user (@Iwendtster) took to Instagram to share the clip, captioning it:"What did Charlie Kirk think about Nicki Minaj? Well this. But it’s just hateful and I’m just so insensitive for pointing out that his grieving widow and TPUSA seem to be going completely against what he stood for in almost every area now that he’s gone right?"What did Nicki Minaj say during her surprise appearance alongside Erika Kirk at TPUSA's America Fest?Erick Kirk brought out Nicki Minaj as a surprise guest at the TPUSA America Fest held on Sunday. When asked about her thoughts on President Trump, the 43-year-old rapper said:"He [Trump] has given so many people hope that there's a chance to beat the bad guys and to win and to do it with your head held high."Minaj also spoke about her religious journey and used her voice to bring attention to the Christians in Nigeria who are being persecuted. She said:"We won't be silenced ever again; we will speak up for Christians wherever they are in this world... not gonna back down anymore."She also made a comment about the leftists, saying:"We're the cool kids. The other people, they're the others that are still just disgruntled... They are angry with themselves... In a world that doesn't want us to think, we will think."Nicki also mentioned her connection to Nigeria:"Nigeria is a place I've always loved. Someone very dear to me, my pastor, is Nigerian... I have lots of Nigerian barbs and so hearing that … while they're in church, people are being kidnapped, people are being killed, brutalized, all because of their religion — that should spark outrage."The viral clip has sparked debate because Charlie Kirk's past comments about Minaj seem to clash with her recent appearance at a TPUSA event. Nicki surprised many by speaking about politics, religion, and issues faced by Christians in Nigeria. Also read: Internet reacts as Nicki Minaj joins Erika Kirk on stage during TPUSA AmFest
