It has been nine days since the start of Diddy's trial, and Kid Cudi joins a few well-known names who have testified in court. Cudi, whose real name is Scott Ramon Seguro Mescudi, had a few shocking things to say while he was on the stand. Cudi's testimony included mentions of Cassie Ventura, Sean Combs' ex-girlfriend, who testified against Diddy a few days ago.
However, Ventura was not only involved with Combs; after the pair broke up, Cassie started secretly dating Cudi. The singer even got a burner phone to communicate with Mescudi so Diddy would not find out. However, after Combs found out, that is when things escalated. Cudi testified against Diddy in court on May 22, 2025.

5 important points from Kid Cudi's testimony during Diddy's sex trafficking trial
Kid Cudi testified against the Bad Boy Records founder on May 22, 2025. Here are some of the key points to take away from Diddy's ongoing sex trafficking trial.

Kid Cudi and Cassie Ventura's relationship
This is one of the most important points to take away from Cudi's testimony. One might even trace Cudi and Cassie's relationship as the starting point that led to the following incidents that will be mentioned. Since Ventura and Combs were involved romantically, the former had to hide her relationship with Cudi after she and Diddy broke up. Mescudi and Ventura met through Diddy in 2011 after he introduced them to each other to work on some music.
Diddy being violent with Cassie
Kid Cudi testified that Cassie had told him about Diddy's violent streak. According to the testimony, Mescudi said that Ventura told him that Combs would often:
"hit her, sometimes kick her."
Cudi mentioned that this bothered him.
Cassie's distress call
Cudi testified that in 2011, his then-girlfriend, Cassie, called him in distress because Combs found out about their relationship. Mescudi took her to a nearby hotel and contacted Diddy's employee, who revealed that Diddy and his associates were at Cudi's house.
In addition to this, Kid Cudi also testified that he called Diddy and asked the rap mogul:
"Motherf**ker, are you in my house?" to which Combs replied, "I am here waiting for you."
However, upon Cudi's return, Diddy was nowhere to be seen, but the Erase Me singer mentioned that a few of his things were moved.
Burning Porsche
In the following year, Cudi testified that his Porsche was firebombed with a Molotov cocktail to the point where it could not be salvaged anymore. Images of the damaged car were also shown during the trial. Mescudi said that he thinks Diddy had a hand in burning up his car, stating he (Combs):
"had something to do with" Cudi's car exploding.
Marvel supervillain
The Stars In The Sky singer testified that the three of them (Cudi, Ventura, and Diddy) met to talk it out after the car bombing. However, in Mescudi's words, Diddy's attitude resembled a:
"Marvel supervillain," whereby he pretended like he did not know what Cudi is talking about (exploding car).
However, years later, Kid Cudi testified that he encountered Diddy, after which the now-infamous rapper said:
"Man, I just want to apologize for everything and all that."
Kid Cudi's testimony helped to shed some new light on Diddy's ongoing trial. It highlighted Combs' violent, manipulative, and intimidating nature. Keep watching this space for more details about Diddy's case.
