Rapper 50 Cent's clothing brand, G-Unit, is reportedly running a special deal on Black Friday. The line was reportedly debuted in partnership with Marc Ecko in 2003. Although there have been rumours about the brand shutting down, it has continued to revive its line with new product launches and offers. According to WWD, G-Unit's partnership reportedly ended with Marc in 2008, after Marc Ecko Enterprises (MEE) reportedly re-evaluated its involvement with the brand. 50 Cent has actively promoted the brand on his social media, including confirming the recent Black Friday offer, which is only available on November 28. He took to his Instagram stories to confirm that the brand is running a "Buy 1 Get 1" offer on "apparel", excluding "suits, jackets, and bundles." From time to time, G-Unit launches offers on apparel, including the ongoing Black Friday sale. The sale comes some days after the launch of new Varsity jackets featuring the brand's insignia. The brand has previously offered discounts on the rapper's album anniversaries, including the 22nd anniversary of Get Rich or Die Tryin' (@50cent) and on his birthday.G-Unit reportedly continues to honour streetwear identity. While not much information is available about the brand, the news outlet, Dance Policy, spoke to the then-art director of the brand, Michael Boyd, who described 50 Cent's passion for the clothing line.
