Former Navy medic and TV personality Dynzell Sigers sat down with TMZ recently to discuss his limb lengthening surgery. Sigers, who had the surgery in 2022, was motivated to get the medical procedure done in Turkey after a woman rejected him for his height. Sigers’s height increased from 5’5” to 6’1” after going through multiple surgeries.

When asked what inspired him to get the procedure done, Sigers said:

“It’s just something I have always wanted since I was a kid. You know, all the men in my family were taller so I decided to do it for myself.”

The TMZ hosts inquired how he managed to add eight inches to his height when a standard surgery could help with three inches. He said:

“Basically, the three inches come from the upper legs over in Turkey which is why I did in Turkey. They do upper and lower because lower is highly recommended against.”

Dynzell Sigers is originally from Chicago. According to 24Hip-Hop, he is also known as MrBrokenBonez. He served in the military, following which he had a difficult time with PTSD. His TikTok following is almost 20,000.

When asked how the procedure is done, Dynzell Sigers said that the bone is first broken, after which a rod is inserted between the pieces. The rod is then stretched, which ultimately helps in stretching the bone. Sigers said that this process takes time. One of the hosts asked how the muscle loss is recovered. He said:

“Everything stretches together, which accounts for the loss of mobility and all these different things because your muscles are stretched past their normal limits so you just regain muscle.”

Dynzell Sigers talks about side effects, the shelf life of the procedure, and expenses

When asked if he still suffered any side effects, Dynzell Sigers said he did not have any issues and was fully recovered. He said he played different sports. However, he noted that the surgery came with possible side effects if one is not careful enough. Besides fatality, he mentioned that there could be situations when the bones didn’t reconnect. Sigers said:

“You just have this empty hole in your leg where it’s just a rod which […] won’t last forever. But it’s few different situations you can run into with the surgery.”

One of the hosts asked if the medical procedure came with a shelf life. Dynzell Sigers said the rods would come out once the bone is healed. He said the bone was not supposed to sit there with all the space between them.

When asked if he would be obligated to tell his future partner that this was not his original height, he said everybody he dates knows about the situation. He also said that he was not interested in having children. Sigers said that the surgery itself cost around $81,000, but he did not keep a tab on the other expenses.

Meanwhile, Dynzell Sigers perceived the surgery as another add-on in his life without thinking much about the psychological part of it.
