When asked how long he had been making content, Jason said it was a little over two years. Speaking about live streaming, he said:“Yeah, I mean, live streaming has grown a lot since FaZe started. I think we kind of I don't want to take all the credit, but like when we were around in the house when it first started last summer.”Light-heartedly commenting on who got more ego in the clan, JasonTheWeen said:“I think the one that stirs the most problem in the group, and there's not even that many problems, but I would say love him to death, but it's probably Silky.”JasonTheWeen discusses his journey and the advice he gives to new streamersSharing insights about his upbringing, JasonTheWeen said his parents wanted him to do something in the sciences, like being a doctor, engineer, or anything to do with technology. He said he attended a nursing school, but that did not work out well. He said:“I was just doing both at the same time. I was in school and I was streaming.”He also said:“I did TikTok at first. I did on Tik Tok and then I went to streaming like during COVID. I feel like that's where most content creators like really started was COVID.”When asked how someone became a great streamer, JasonTheWeen said that the advice he gave to budding streamers is that when they start, they should not stream for long hours. He said initially nobody would be interested in watching an eight-hour stream, especially of someone they don’t know yet. He said:“I feel like you got to stream like one to two hours, but like stream for clips, stream for short form content and post that on everything like YouTube shorts, Tik Tok, Instagram reels. Then, you know, once you get a following, that's when you start to stream longer, build that community, and slowly grow and keep growing.”JasonTheWeen said that at present, it is all about TikTok and Instagram reels. He mentioned that reels have become more like YouTube shorts. They can help one gain followers.
