South Korean singer and entertainer Kim Jong-Kook is all set to tie the knot. He revealed his marriage plans in a letter written to his fans. Born in 1976, he made his debut as a singer through the South Korean duo Turbo with Kim Jung-nam.
Two years after their debut, Jung-nam left the group and was replaced by Mikey. Jong-Kook released his first solo album titled Renaissance in 2001, consisting of fifteen songs.
While his music career helped him build a name in the industry, he also tried his hand at acting with shows like Family Outing and Running Man. He made his first guest appearance on Gag Concert in 1999, according to MyDramaList.
In 2025, he served as the main host of Couple Palace Season 2 and is scheduled to appear as the main host on the upcoming TV program Problem Child in House Season 2.

The announcement of Kim Jong-Kook's marriage was made via a letter, as reported by multiple websites. The statement read:
"I’m getting married. Honestly, I tried to drop small hints here and there… but I’m sure there are many people who feel as if this came suddenly. This is my 30th debut anniversary, and instead of making the album I wanted, I made my “other half” instead… Still, please congratulate and support me…"
Adding to the details, he wrote:
"The wedding will take place sometime soon on a scale that is not too big with family, close friends, and a few acquaintances."
However, the actor did not reveal the name of his soon-to-be wife or the exact date of the wedding, keeping those details private while sharing only that it will be a small, intimate ceremony with close people. Kim Jong-Kook also expressed gratitude to his fans, calling them his biggest support.
