Social media influencer Yarely Ashley Hermosillo lost her life in a shooting on August 15. Police have arrested a man named Jesus Preciado Dousten as a suspect in the case, who escaped shortly after the shooting. Dousten is 33.
The tragic incident took place on the night of August 15, when the suspect fired a gun during an argument on Camelback Road. After the suspect fired the shot, the bullet hit Yarely Ashley Hermosillo in the head, who was with her boyfriend, son, and mother.
Jesus Preciado Dousten was taken into custody at his Glendale apartment the next day. According to Arizona's Family:
"He’s being held on a $1 million bond on allegations of second-degree murder, aggravated assault, misconduct involving weapons (prohibited possessor) and endangerment."
Police reportedly located Jesus Preciado Dousten after tracking him from one place to another and following him through cameras and surveillance.

Glendale Police Sgt. Brian Hoskins questioned the suspect’s actions, saying it was unclear why he would fire in another direction without realizing there was a car beside him. In a statement reported by Arizona's Family, he said:
"As gun owners, you have to know where you’re shooting, what you’re pointing at. You know, those are the responsibilities of being a responsible gun owner. You can’t just fire rounds randomly throughout. Specifically, a high, highly populated city"
Police are continuing to investigate the case to gather more details.
Yarely Ashley Hermosillo’s loved ones create GoFundMe
A GoFundMe page has also been created in memory of Yarely, which aims to raise $12k. As of now, the page has already gathered $11,719 from 181 donations, bringing it close to its target. Her GoFundMe also included a tribute to the late influencer that read:
"Yarely was a loving wife, a devoted mother, and a beautiful soul whose light touched everyone who knew her. She leaves behind her husband and their 4-year-old son, who now face an unimaginable loss. Yarely’s greatest joy in life was being a mother, and she poured her heart into caring for her little boy."
The statement continues:
"As our family grieves this heartbreaking tragedy, we are asking for support to help ease the financial burden her husband now faces—covering funeral expenses, as well as providing for their young son during this difficult time."
Yarely Ashley Hermosillo had more than 140k followers on Instagram, where she used to upload food content. She also had a Facebook page with over 61,000 followers enjoying her content.
